In that case everybody has been free to tuck into meat ever since the Ark docked..
In my younger days I was in a cycling club and during long-distance rides my tum was screaming out for meat, so at the next grocers I went in and stuffed my rucksack full of pork pies, sausage rolls, corned beef, ham, meat slices, you name it..

Humans once tamed wolves to make cute pet doggos, so there's no reason why you can't do the same. No point in paying for a dog. Find a wolf cub in the wild and take it home. But be considerate enough to let its mama see that you're leaving with her cub so that she has a chance to say goodbye. This tip is also applicable to other species like bears, wolverines, and cougars.
