Heaven? Not Interested.

Personally, I am looking forward to it. I am sure that we will retain our memories so, in that aspect, we will not be starting over.

What did God have in mind for humanity in Genesis 1 and 2 before the fall?🤔 I feel a glorious restoration coming and I cannot wait to see it😊

There is going to be a new heaven and new earth. Read Revelation 21.

Renewal as Jesus and Simon Peter said. But however you interpret it, we are assured it’s going to be great 😊

I say, its better in heaven than to deal with the Devil who will take you to the lake of fire.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Ephesians 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Have you considered the possibility that your view of heaven may be slightly skewed? My view is very different. I don't see a strange place that is unknown, I see a place of home and reunion with people and things that are totally familiar with me. I see old worn and dirty clothing falling away, old temptations totally loosing their power, and old, old questions finally answered. I see a resolution of those fleeting memories which have just remained out of reach, images of unknown people who helped me and even saved me but sought no recognition. (I can continue but you get the point.)

The most important items here are your spouse and BFF...don't you think you'll see her again? Entertainment, clothing, and equipment are far below all the other things you listed, and Jesus said not to worry about clothes. I'm sure there will be nature in Heaven, or something better. But, I think I know what you mean...it is like moving and changing homes.

I once heard a minister tell the story of a fictional busload of Hell's inmates
who were given a 30 day furlough for some R&R in Heaven. They all came
back the first night because God's world was such a bore.

There were no wild parties, no clothing-optional beaches, no bars, no night
clubs, no porn, no escort services, no pigging-out at buffets, no fights, no
profanity, no ribaldry, no free sex, no vulgar late-night comedy, no exotic
dancers, no X-rated movies, no junk food, no tobacco, no marijuana, no
meth, ecstasy, LSD, fentanyl, heroine, or cocaine, no hunting for sport, no
fishing for sport, no casino gambling, no bawdy strips like Fremont
Street in Las Vegas, and no trafficking (a.k.a. prostitution).

And the hellsters didn't particularly care for the isolation. None of the good
folk in Heaven wanted to associate with them: they were ostracized, they
were segregated, and they were quarantined.

Heaven is a pleasant utopia. It's etiquette, its dress code, and its rules of
conduct and civility; were way too constraining for the hellsters. Especially
suffocating is the mandatory self control everyone has to exercise in their
choice of words to avoid hurting people's feelings.

You see; many of the interests that concern Hell's people are unacceptable
in Heaven; and in point of fact, none of Heaven's people even want to hear
about that stuff. For them that scene is over and they don't want it back.

You know what else is lacking in Heaven? Religious tolerance. There is only
one religion up there. What's that tell you? Well; it tells me that the
establishment clause of the US Constitution's first amendment doesn't fly in
Heaven. The theocratic monarchy in Heaven insists upon dictating
everyone's religious preference.

In other words: Heaven's utopian society, coupled with its 24/7 Big Brother
oversight, universal surveillance, and strict morality, was just simply too
much to ask in exchange for some time off. To the hellsters, God's world
held little more appeal for a get-away than one of North Korea's prison
camps.

Wow...didn't you do the daily Hell population clock for awhile? I thought maybe you were sincere about those posts (to warn people), but were you doing that as a form of mockery or sport?

Just hang on . . . I think if we are patient we will hear more - this guy seems to have a tactic of satirical irony!

It is scary and intense yes but far more than worth it once you get past that first uncertainty that nervousness that uncertiny you see why heaven is heaven it is far more than we can begin to understand it is like an ant tryining compare it's understanding to a human we have no concept no ability or way to understand heaven the kingdom of God the realm of eternal life all of it is so deep so beyond our or any other higher beings comprhension

Don't underundestimate the God we serve and love heaven by human concept is bland boring lame lacking the word itself but to understand heaven you have to understand him first because he is the very source of heaven itself every aspect of him in defined in it it is the embodiment of his own heart

The fact of your title says you do not know heaven if you did the only responce you would have to to constantly praise and his glory you would have an abnorbnal desire to bring heaven the reason for all of this entire plan of his here it the only gift that keeps on giving you are not able to keep the treasures of heaven to yourself you know this is something that needs to be given and given in abundance heavem is the very heart of God when we became Christians we swore more than our allegiance we swore to know him to seek his heart to understand and know the person of God himself otherwise we could never see heaven.

You could in a sense tell how well a person knows God by what they can tell you of heaven. You don't have to have visited it to know it you know it by knowing him it naturally reasonates with you it just happens

There those of course like me who have tasted and seen of these things it is not to astablish being more special but to speak and give what I have been given I cannot by any means claim any credit but I have beenn blessed enough to get glipses of his realm from golden towers and cities with angels flying and sininging his praise 24/7 to this beautiful garden so vivid and beautiful I was actually brought to tears and honestly it felt familuar to me somehow.

I have seen a challas of gold and crimson but it somehow contained all of heaven and the earth held by the king himself I could go on and on about what I have seen and experienced in the heavenly realm but it would defeat the purpose.


Knowing him first and foremaost is the only way to to not only understand heaven but to learn how to live in it to percieve it and bring it forth.

Well, you can't stay here. Your soul is the immortal part of you and will exist elsewhere. I think we do remain who we are though. Is it that what really worries you? That you would lose yourself? I don't think so. It will be you on a new adventure.

I look forward immensely to heaven with Jesus. Safe at last, heaven will be fantastic. I do not see what is so wonderful about this world anyway - look at it. Think about what our mortal lives are - full of pain and misery especially as we get old. It will be incredible to be released and just be spirit in a place of peace and perfect happiness.

None of that is in Hell either. Just fire, torment, a worm that doesn't die, and nothing to drink or eat.

Sounds like the words of a Satanist. This is exactly the kind of thing they'd have you believe. Heaven's boring, evil, and Hell is a perpetual, self-indulgent party.

Satan wants you as his hellish trophy. He'll tell you whatever you're willing to believe to see the image of his enemy that you represent suffering eternally. It's as close as he'll ever get to the real thing.

If there is only one God, why is there going to be Buddhism and Wicca and Islam and Atheism also? And, if all of these beliefs are equally valid, then Jesus did not have to die for your sins. But, since He did, that says that none of these other beliefs can save you. They are lies designed by the enemy of your soul.

Hell is the absence of God. There is no pleasure, rest, peace, joy or harmony in Hell, because those things come with a holy God.

There are good things in this world and in this life. Problem is, too much of it is broken. As CS Lewis said this life is like a mud pie. We see nothing better, so we assume that mud pies are great. Well, God has real pies waiting for his people.
