I was not born in a Christian home, and I accepted Christ later in life. I gave up my past criminal ways and wanted to learn what was the will of God. I threw away my old ways of thinking and dedicated myself to study and learning.
After many years I have concluded that most American Christian are not real Christians.
They fall into 2 camps. The Liberal progressive side and the Conservative side, both are lost and condemned.
The liberal side is easy understand, they don’t follow what the bible says, and they do their own thing, and accept immoral behavior as normal. They think all are saved. When they are really not.
The conservative right side seems like the correct choice but it’s another farce.
They don’t follow what the bible says, they try to be moral but are Self-righteous, and they think they are saved but are not because they are evil.
There are plenty of good material out there talking about how liberalism is bad but hardly anyone talks about the farce of conservative Christendom

Question 1: There is this guy who is persecuting Christian men women and children and wants to make it illegal to be a Christian, with a penalty of death.

I thought I was born in a Christian home, and I accepted Christ when I was 12. I wanted to learn what was the will of God and needed help opening up the Bible. Watchman Nee helped me so I could read the Bible for myself. I was involved in a powerful campus ministry on Rice university which turned the campus upside down, I gave myself full time to help with a Christian publishing ministry, and I went to Taiwan to preach the gospel and train others in the gospel from 1987 to 1995.
After many years I have concluded that most Christians fall into 2 camps: those that are simply hearers of the word of God and those that are doers of the word of God.
Those that are hearers only deceive themselves.

Some of those who have deceived themselves have become a judge of the law, rather than a doer of the law. They like to tell others their failings and condemn them. That is not how you deal with
the strong idolatry in the world. We are not to render evil for evil or railing for railing, but rather blessing. We do this because we believe God is the judge, not us, and He knows the hearts of men and He has the wisdom to make it manifest for all to see who is evil and who is righteous, who is a liar and who stands on the truth.

The gospel is that Jesus is Lord of Lords, king of kings. He has dealt with sin. That means that He can forgive sins, He can also judge them. He can deliver us from sins and He can cast the man of lawlessness into the lake of fire. If you are truly saved your conscience will actively condemn sin in your own life so that you purge out the sinful acts from your own behavior. We need to grow and mature as Christians. Many want to be involved in spiritual warfare but are not balanced. They accuse people of many evils, that is slander and is of the evil one.

Religion is the problem and Jesus didn't like religions.

What options do we have now ?

Agreed. When Jesus said the road is narrow, He was making reference to all the ways people think they can ‘get to heaven’ (He is the only way), not all the ways in which believers in Him might be excluded.

I pray for Trump to find salvation, and AOC and Clinton, and the masons, and the Islamic people, and the killers, and the thieves, and the people who riot and shoplift. I was freely given mercy and I shall freely give mercy. Even if I am offended 77 times a day.
Even in a Jihad nation filled with people who seek great harm against me, I would say father forgive them for they know not what they do.
I was an evil person that did not deserve forgiveness.
The old me would never give a single dollar away, but now I learned that having food and clothes is enough.
