I don't worry too much about doctrinal distinctives, but I don't accept that certain CoC views are sound according to the full counsel of Scripture. I was more pointing out that the OP claimed to have come to his own conclusions, which just happen to align with CoC dogma.
You both, you and Niki7 need to study the scriptures carefully and let them lead you instead of making comments about things you don't clearly understand or assume. The coC is 100% correct on the single most important thing, and that's salvation. Everything else is secondary. What did people like the Ethiopian eunuch know and what was he expected to know? He simply heard the message which included the need for baptism, believed it, confirmed his belief by confessing it, and was immediately baptized. He was saved! No different than others in the recorded conversions such as the Jews on the day of Pentecost. They heard the message, believed, and were baptized. They too were saved. Everything else is secondary. Becoming saved is the most important thing anyone can do. Most teach falsehoods regarding salvation. How about you? Do you know what the scriptures teach regarding salvation?

Whether the CoC is correct on the most important question is irrelevant because that is not the topic of this thread.

Translation:

You need to believe what I believe and then I will pat you on the back.

My take: blah blah bladdy blah blah etc

And then the attempt at indicating that any other understanding illustrates ignorance of scripture

b o r i n g

You don't believe half of what the NT teaches so you should probably declare yourself out of order come back another day or something

The most important question is exactly that: THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION. And the subject of this thread is irrelevant as relates thereto. But the fact of the matter is you understand neither.

Wow. I've seen some inappropriate personal attacks on this forum, but yours tops the list. I'm not worried though; it only reflects badly on you.
