Truly, there is no authority greater than Lord Jesus of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of the true and living God.
The commandment regarding receiving the things of the Kingdom is this:

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of the true and living God, be magnified.
The Lord Jesus Christ comes soon.
What on earth are you wittering on about?

And stop being so critical!

The will of God is plainly revealed in Scripture. Everything which glorifies God and Christ, propagates the Gospel, promotes the Kingdom of God, edifies the saints, and blesses others regardless of who they are, and is done in obedience and service to Him is the will of God.
Impressive summary.

Truly -
What was shared was taken directly from the King's table.
Therefore, is your question directed toward me? Or is your question directed toward the Author, even the Everlasting?

And if I have shared the holy things with you, and ye choose to respond as ye have - what shall we conclude, beloved?

Am I truly inferior and contemptible, that you should lay charge upon me above that of my Father, Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of the true and living God?

If so, please provide proof of the authority granted thee by our King, that I may be properly humbled under thee.
For I have not heard - by way of messenger, nor prophet, nor counselor assigned to this house of Yehuda, nor by Adonai that one shall approach with power, filled with the Holy Spirit - for admonition and edification, that I will be humbled under him and hear him in this way. Truth.

Does anyone have advice on how to discern the will of God? How much should we go by feelings? Should a lack of peace about doing something be enough to stop us from doing it, even if there's nothing clear in the Bible against it? I have struggled with knowing if I should, for example, take a certain trip or make a certain decision, sometimes huge decisions and sometimes just tiny everyday ones. How do I know if it's my own mind, or the still small voice of God if I don't "have peace" about it?
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ 4:12

as you hear the gospel your mind and heart are being redeemed and corrected as we accept the gospel It is teaching us discernment the idea is we should be able to read the things Jesus taught and fully agree with what he’s saying and not have that argument in us , he’s the lord and savior we’re the ones being saved he’s the teacher we’re the students

aid we understood that relationship we would know each time we learn something new from the gospel we’ve learned a bit more of the correct discernment Gods discernment

None of the above. You read scripture and study scripture and pray.
God spoke to one prophet in a still small voice, that is descriptive not prescriptive.
The answer is a strong understanding of scripture, this is how to know the will of God.

I suggest that the main thing is you get to know God by any means possible. That means you will develop an acute hearing as in my sheep will know my voice.

The other important thing is to expect him to talk to you. A friend of mine, a Christian has said he has never heard God speak. I told him I hear him speak all the time because I expect him to speak to me.

Known as a father son relationship.

The only way that any of that is done is through his word the holy scriptures and prayer

I have thought of this verse too and have been troubled by it.

So did you never have an experience where you weren't sure if it was God? Some things are obvious. And many times it's our conscience, which can be misguided.

Beloved, when we are young, we make many mistakes; but in the presence of sound Authority - by the rod of correction - we learn 'how to see and hear', we 'understand' the proper way to proceed - in all things. When any offended parent deals lovingly with their youth, the loving parent does not spare the rod of correction, but speaks plainly, how that the deed of the child did offend - and why; and what ought to be done. The Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob IS He who instills such code of conduct in all - as He sees fit; and the practice (Law of Life) IS used by He Himself; for He does not teach what He Himself does not practice.

Here - this IS His Majesty's excellence:

1Blessed is the man

who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

or set foot on the path of sinners,

or sit in the seat of mockers.

2But his delight is in the Law of the LORD,

and on His law he meditates day and night.

3He is like a tree planted by streams of water,

yielding its fruit in season,

whose leaf does not wither,

and who prospers in all he does.

4Not so the wicked!

For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.

5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6For the LORD guards the path of the righteous,

but the way of the wicked will perish.

Our way is not our own. But with great detail, we are shown how that we must accomplish all things; and in those ways we stand in all tests, trials, tribulations, and the like.

I lament for all who take offense at the Law of Life, who do not hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.

Peace and love to all sincere.

amen he has always spoken freely his Will to anyone willing to hear it that’s what scripture is and why it’s so important

“knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

Amen

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

amen specifically the gospel

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:42-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

For All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:22-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬

We all share the same Ministry, in which, we each have a testimony to share that can lead to witnessing for Christ. past that, some may not have more to do in the Perfect Will of God. and then there are those who will be lay persons and part of construction and building the physical church building and campus. and then there some that go beyond that point all the way to evangelizing, pastor, preaching and teaching. these Roles requires Gifts that are different from many others. these require the Gift of Discernment. Discernment not only is like a radar in the gut about who is standing in front of you [friend or foe], are they lying or telling the truth, does what being said add up here? but the biggest Role Discernment awards, understanding God's Will for you.

Paul said we can seek and pray after certain Gifts. I suggest asking God for Discernment.
