We love God because He first loved us.
Acts 13:38-39 KJV
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
[39] And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 6:15-16 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

This is for those who say preaching osas is a licence to sin

As you know Brother, Sister, friend us Christians do not murder, rob or rape anyone. It is against the fruit of the Spirit and God's Laws. Read or post II Peter 1

2 Peter 1
Easy-to-Read Version
1 Greetings from Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ.

To all of you who share in the same valuable faith that we have. This faith was given to us because our God and Savior Jesus Christ always does what is good and right.

2 Grace and peace be given to you more and more, because now you know God and Jesus our Lord.

God Has Given Us Everything We Need
3 Jesus has the power of God. And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus chose us by his glory and goodness, 4 through which he also gave us the very great and rich gifts that he promised us. With these gifts you can share in being like God.
And so you will escape the ruin that comes to people in the world because of the evil things they want.

5 Because you have these blessings, do all you can to add to your life these things: to your faith add goodness; to your goodness add knowledge; 6 to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add patience; to your patience add devotion to God; 7 to your devotion add kindness toward your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to this kindness add love. 8 If all these things are in you and growing, you will never fail to be useful to God. You will produce the kind of fruit that should come from your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But those who don’t grow in these blessings are blind. They cannot see clearly what they have. They have forgotten that they were cleansed from their past sins.

10 My brothers and sisters, God called you and chose you to be his. Do your best to live in a way that shows you really are God’s called and chosen people. If you do all this, you will never fall. 11 And you will be given a very great welcome into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a kingdom that never ends.

12 You already know these things. You are very strong in the truth you have. But I am always going to help you remember them. 13 While I am still living here on earth, I think it is right for me to remind you of them. 14 I know that I must soon leave this body. Our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that. 15 I will try my best to make sure you remember these things even after I am gone.

We Saw Christ’s Glory
16 We told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We told you about his coming. The things we told you were not just clever stories that people invented. No, we saw the greatness of Jesus with our own eyes. 17 Jesus heard the voice of the great and glorious God. That was when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice said, “This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him.” 18 And we heard that voice. It came from heaven while we were with Jesus on the holy mountain.[a]

19 This makes us more sure about what the prophets said. And it is good for you to follow closely what they said, which is like a light shining in a dark place. You have that light until the day begins and the morning star brings new light to your minds. 20 Most important of all, you must understand this: No prophecy in the Scriptures comes from the prophet’s own understanding. 21 No prophecy ever came from what some person wanted to say. But people were led by the Holy Spirit and spoke words from God.

Footnotes
2 Peter 1:18 This event is described in the Gospels. See Mt. 17:1-8; Mk. 9:2-8; Lk. 9:28-36.

There is way the Desktop Icon looks like:

And here is what the Program looks like:
1681613413976.png

My Car is still in the Shop, and Covid19 is going around the town once again, so I am not going to Church tomorrow. However, they have Live Worship Services on YouTube, so I will watch the Services live on YouTube, and that is why I have it only on half Screen, as tomorrow I will have the Bible Open and the Video of the Pastor's Services on the right side half.

Some Bibles have only black Verses in the Gospels, and some Bible have the words of Christ in Red. The Programs with SEVERAL FREE BIBLEs is absolutely free. On my list, I only had to buy 2 Bibles, that I use regularly. They were reasonable, from $11.99 for the Black Letter one, and 19.99 for the Red Letter on, US dollars, and the rest are FREE. HCSB, NASB2020 bundle, NASB77. That NASB2020 was bundled with the NASB Dictionary, and lots of it comes numbered in the text. That I need, because that is what Pastor teaches out of. Here are the ones with red letters for the Words of Christ:

ASV free, ESV free, ESV2011 free, ISV free, KJV free, OEBus free, WEB free,
And only ONE that I had to buy in Red Letter was NASB2020.

Only two in the that I had to Buy were Both NASB.

So the REST are Free from this site: https://www.theword.nethttps://www.theword.net/

Always interesting to see so many verses which speak of complete destruction for non-believers...

Does this program carry the Berean Study Bible?

YES, and it is a FREE Vision, BUT NOT A RED LETTER edition.

I have no idea, what the RevINT stands for? I did turn in a suggestion that they put the WORD or PHRASE Search bar next to the Verse Search on the front page. We will have to wait and see if they approve of it.

It is willingly to follow Christ even it is Cost you Life. It forsaking Your wants and desires, to willingly fulfill HIS wants and desires. It is striving with your whole heart, to reach others for Christ. It is getting off the Throne in your heart, and willing GIVING IT TO CHRIST, and NEVER EVER WANTING TO TAKE IT BACK.

Jesus said, "The one who keeps my commandments, loves Me." He also said, "If you love father, mother, son or daughter...more then you love me, you are not worthy of being mine."

James says, "Faith without good deeds is dead." But Ephesians 2:8 says, "Salvation is by grace through faith, NOT works..." Ephesians 2:10 explains these two verses by saying, "...we are saved unto good works." This means IF we are truly saved by "...grace through faith..." then good deeds will follow, bringing harmony to Ephesians and James.

Good deeds MAY follow... Fruit from being saved will.. which may not be obvious to observers.

James 2 is about those who have faith..Abraham.. Rahab.. using their faith.. so it is alive and well. Unused .. it is in the sense of dead as 'dormant'.

Not 'never had faith to begin with'. Or 'lost eternal life'.

Neither of those things apply to the believers listed in the examples James wrote .

The harmony of Romans 4:2-3 and James 2:24 is seen in the differing ways that Paul and James use the term "justified." Paul, when he uses the term, refers to the legal (judicial) act of God by which He accounts the believer as righteous. James, however is using the term to describe those who would show the genuineness of their faith by the works that they do.

James is not using the word "justified" in James 2:24 to mean "accounted as righteous" but is shown to be righteous. James is discussing the evidence of faith (says-claims to have faith but has no works/I will show you my faith by my works - James 2:14-18) and not the initial act of being accounted as righteous with God. (Romans 4:2-3)

How do we deal with Peter saying - gentiles need to keep some of the law - Paul was present and did not object

Acts 15:29 - That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Also how can you have 'sin' if there is no law

Well in regards to how can you sin if there is no law.. the 10 commandments are still the standard .. they were not anulled.. so everyone still misses the mark in following in them perfectly.

But the fact is .. everyone.. does sin.. and Jesus paid for this sin. So anyone who believes in Jesus has the consequence of hell undone for them.

There is still the New Testament system of faith with it's standards that we abide by. Not the mosaic and levitical laws though. And it isn't in keeping the NT system of faith that someone is made right eternally. They can't be because they always at some point fail in it.
