That sentence reminded me of this video short:

He been alive a day and already sick of it lol

Lol, one of the top comments says: "He looks like he has to work a double shift because his lazy as* coworker called off, lol"

PS - That side-eye, lol! Like, his boss just told him about the double shift!
Maybe he deserved to work a double shift. Did he work yesterday? Sure he was just born but he still could have worked a half day.

I posted further on this idea, #40, just as you asked! :D
I read it. You made a great point, if only I could remember it.

Just kidding. If only things from above can return above, then being born from above would be necessary.

Yes, and Jesus taking the form of man, to save man from our sin, is "first" to receive the Holy Spirit Who descended like a dove...

OP is not responsible for any loopy thinking...disclaimer, disclaimer.
There may be more forthcoming as there is so much to loop through.

Of this I have no doubt. Once the centrifuge starts spinning it takes awhile for it to come to a stop.

...So that I don't forget to explain the notes... As I was looking at the language in John 3 of "born again," I placed in parentheses the root meaning of 'begotten from above" that I saw in the word explanation (a man begets; a woman brings forth), and this reinforced my original idea of the significance of Father saying, "Today, I have begotten thee" to Jesus after the Holy Spirit descended like a dove upon Him.

If the Bible were written during our time, how many times would Jesus have had to said, "No, I didn't say that! I said this!"?
A few times Jesus WAS completely misunderstood by everyone, and he DID have to completely explain himself.
So... that happened.
: )

Most of the time he didn't have to explain, because the required context was already understood.
That context was 1st century, 2nd Temple Judaism... along with the simple understandings that words have meaning, authorial intent exits, and we're all using a correspondence theory of truth.
(The context requires a lot of study for us "moderns', but it was pretty easy for people of the time.)

But I agree, if the Bible was written now, how could anyone understand anything contextually?
We're in a time when truth doesn't exist, all information is subjective, every proposition is tortured until it yields some bizarre meaning that was never intended, and we can't even tell a man from a woman?
Today is not a good time for scripture writing.

I know you were just making a little quip... but ya know, the complete lack of reality in modern culture is a little disturbing.
: )

Yes, it used to be a given that denying reality was in fact insanity but, now it's 'normal.'
Aack! I might've thought myself into a headache. lol. I will rest knowing there's no chaos, not even mine, that God can't put into its order.
Good night, luvies, God blesses and keeps you, always.

I was gonna go to bed but something tugged on my blanket and it tripped me out lol.
Adam came first and Eve was created from Adams rib afterwards. The centurion pierced Jesus in the rib that became the blood atonement.
Adam and Eve are one like the Covenants are one.
When satan tempted Eve,he was going for the blood. There is the spirit of the Lord in the mist of the garden, the water, and the blood.
The Holy Spirit you might say has a feminine quality.I'm not saying like how a worldly woman might act.I'm talking about having a loving nature, and being a natural nurturer.Jesus is the spirit, water and the blood.God created us in his image. The spirit, water, and the blood.

Born once die twice...born twice die once.

Genesis 2:7, 15 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:8, 15 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Revelation 2:11
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Romans 1:20 tells us that the invisible things of God can be understood by the things that are seen.
In John 3 Jesus tells Nicodemus that he must be born again.
Does physical birth teach anything concerning spiritual birth? If so, what?

We had nothing to do with our physical birth, just as we have nothing to do with our spiritual birth.

Well for one thing an infant cannot be "unborn" and return to its mother's womb. Neither can a child of God be unborn and return to his or her previous state. This in itself undercuts any idea about losing one's salvation, But God chastens his children when they get out of line, and those who fail to repent may even die prematurely. That is called "the sin unto death". But salvation remains secure, since eternal life is a gift of God's grace.

Death, according to Greek interpretation, means "a separation" The born again child of God, when he commits a sin, separates himself from his fellowship with God, temporary, until he repents. Committing a sen, for the born again, does not separate him from his eternal inheritance, because all of his sins were paid for on the cross.

When a baby passes through it comes out head first and it is washed with the water and the blood while doing so.It's just like the Israelite's crossing over the Jordan with the Levite's in the front carrying at the Ark of the Covenant.Jesus is the head of the church.

Considering the origins of the tenet of marriage, to be fruitful and multiply, the bride is given in marriage, that is she gives herself to the groom, who offers his seed. Does the seed represent faith? I don't believe so as it seems rather that it represents the word of truth and the seed of woman, the ovum, receives it so it would fit the representation of faith much better. And at this point, the new child is created, i.e. the new creation.

Now, the ovum is of the woman as much as it is instrumental in forming the substance of the new creation, but not without the substance of the seed as, if the seed is rejected, there is no new creation.
So, was the capability always there in those that are never born again? Some have answered no.

However, keeping in mind spiritual birth is different from natural birth in that it most likely resembles Jesus' birth rather than Adam's as much as any subsequent births after the creation of Eve, where Jesus is from the Father so are those born of the Spirit. But even Mary said, when Gabriel announced God's intentions, "Be it unto me..."
