The words "I am" in John 8:24 or any other verse, simply mean Jesus existed before Abraham. It does NOT imply a full co-equal deity!

Jesus is 100% man. The word 'FIRSTBORN' implies Jesus was created and had a beginning. God the Father is the Supreme being and One True God. The Spirit of God is the power of God manifested by the Seven Spirits of God.

There is a contra-distinction between the spirit of God and the holy spirit which was promised to believers as the advocate, enabler, and comforter. The holy spirit is an extra measure of the spirit of Jesus or of an angelic being.

In every instance where the word 'firstborn' is used, whether it's about the firstborn among the brethren, or the firstborn over all creation, or the firstborn from among the dead, or the firstborn into the world - or anything else - it always implies a beginning! NOT ONCE does it imply ETERNAL. The Textus Receptus uses the terminology, "BEFORE-most-BROUGHT-FORTH."

I take him at his word that he's the Christ - the anointed of God and the Father is greater.

He was the Christ - the Messiah. He was divine in that he came from the Father and had an uncommon measure of the Fathers Holy Spirit. That's how he overcame. Even so, at times, he needed to be empowered and encouraged by an angel to overcome. (Luke 22) IF Jesus was also God, why would he need any empowerment at all from an angel?
The term I Am means He is equating Himself to God. The Pharisees understood what He was saying that's why they were going to stone Him.

And out of the abundance of the heart - one Christian should NOT condemn the other. I won't tolerate it.
He quoted scripture. It may be the Holy Spirit knocking on your heart.

There is no trinity so there aren't different functions of 'IT". The different 'functions' come from the 7 spirits of God AKA God's OWN Spirit.
From Revelation 1:3 "John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ . . .”

The seven spirits are God's:

Revelation 4:5 “From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.”

The seven spirits of the Lord is the Holy Spirit:

Isaiah 11:2
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—

The spirits:
1) The Spirit of the LORD
2) The Spirit of wisdom
3) The Spirit of understanding
4) The Spirit of counsel
5) The Spirit of power
6) The Spirit of knowledge
7) The Spirit of the fear of the Lord

Jesus has the seven spirits:

Revelation 5:6 “Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

So the Trinity is present in all seven spirits.

Jesus says, I am the light of the world. He is not saying, “I am God,” but rather “I am the light of the world.” This is what Jesus means by using 'egō eimi.'

Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am (egō eimi).” That he is what? In the context of John 8 - He's "the light of the world!"

Jesus claims to be the light of the world that has existed in God’s plan long before Abraham.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but orthodox Christianity affirms Christ’s deity and the trinity, if you do not you’re not Christian.
Something for you to consider. Islam, hinduism, Buddhism, VUDU, Luciferianism… all deny the deity of Christ. All satanic religions deny Christ’s deity because faith in Jesus (Emmanuel:God with us) saves.
Let that sink in a bit and may the Lord grant you Godly sorrow which causes repentance unto salvation.

Do you consider God's own Spirit to be God?

Sure. That's one aspect of Jesus. But only limit Jesus as the scripture does. Jesus is awesome. He is more than one thing at a time.

God's spirit is His influence, presence, and power at work accomplishing His will in the universe in general and in among His people in particular. It is NOT a Trinity!

Trinitarians don't know the ONE true God. They know the God of deceitful, fabricated theology. A theology that took the bishops of Rome over 300 years to fabricate!

Sad to see a former member shot up a Kingdom Hall in Hamburg Germany, killing seven and himself.

They say he left the group 18 months ago on bad terms.

That doesn't surprise me. He may have been disfellowshipped from his family. I figured it was either a disgruntled former member or fanatical trinitarian.

Trinitarians have a history of killing.

I think I would go with the former. We radical trinitarians are generally lovers, not fighters.
