Because beyond the spiritual man, the natural man has the ability in their genetic codes to communicate with God in their mind wavelengths.

The Subconscious of the active mind is where we hear that small still Voice.

We are hearing God from day one. Only some will actually hear and submit to God.

Do you have scripture to back up your statement?

Yes, the Calvinist doctrine is from the pit of hell. I have seen many young lives ruined through this evil.
Almost lost my own child to this lie, only God gave me His word in my mouth to the rescue.
Still the devil tries to shut our mouths.

Sadly I did not realize how deep and far Calvinism went till I came here. I find it stunning how someone could read the Word and still follow Calvin. What Calvin said and what the Word says are two different things. When I come across someone that says something different than the Word, which do you think I'm going to follow? Right, not Calvin.

It is no wonder that most evangelicals cannot refute the Jehovah's Witnesses, they use the same superficial proof texting the JWs do, not truly understanding the verses they string together.
Could you elaborate, what you mean by this comment?

I agree with you completely. Believe me, I've lived this Truth, but we are to do all we can to walk in truth and peace.

I do not, at this moment, have to cut off those that do not agree with me, but to seek to do all I can to try to be in the truth and to be at peace with them.

If they persist after talking to them, I will have to count them as those that cause division and have nothing to do with them...
But here is the problem, if you believe Calvinism you are barring the door to heaven. You are saying only certain people have hope and the rest are lost, not because of their own actions, but that God doesn't love them enough to reach them, in fact He was so cruel He created them to suffer on this earth in sin then die and suffer more in hell. We cannot allow that to be taught to new believers it's a lie from hell. Period.

No!! Flat out no!! The Bible teaches Christ came to save ALL. His blood is sufficient to save ALL. The WHOLE WORLD, just as it says. There are endless Scriptures to back that up. You don't need anyone to read the Word for you, it's there for you to read and understand. You don't need Calvin or anyone else to tell you what "WHOSOEVER WILL" means!! And that IS NOT in line with Islam!! It's directly from the WORD!! Nothing added, nothing taken away. Christ shed His blood for ALL, that's what the Word says, that's what it means. Period, end of story. Never heard such heresy as this before and I don't say that lightly. You're making God to be a liar, to say God only loves certain people and leaves the rest to die and struggle in sin. No, 1000 times no! God is able to save anyone, His arm is not shortened and He can save anyone who calls on His name. I don't care what men said/say or believe, I care what the Word says. Calvin did not write the Word, and apparently he never read it! smh
Lord willing, if you set your emotions aside for a moment you’ll see my statement is factual.

The Arminian/Pelagian gospel is in alignment with all satanic religions as it claims man has ability of his own will to be right with God. Man’s ability is at the center of all false gospels, it’s a seed planted by Satan himself. Eve in the garden, Tower of Babel…
————
Perhaps it would help you to realize that creation/salvation is for the glory of God, it’s Christ centered not man centered.

All have sinned and fallen short, none seek after God yet the Father promised in eternity past a bride for the Son, a bride redeemed by the Spirit. A bride that would be formed into the likeness of the Son in sanctification by the Spirit. Salvation is entirely of the Lord for His glory, man simply benefits from this Trinitarian work of love.

Do you have scripture to back up your statement?
We have all throughout the Bible examples of God giving people dreams for interpretation, or Carpenter Joseph dreaming about the Angel telling him Mary is pregnant with God's Seed.

Dreams and visions come from the area of the mind I am discussing. And from our Bible examples we have unsaved natural men having dreams that are interpreted by the likes of Joseph and Daniel.

It shows God making contact with the natural unsaved man, he having his dreams interpreted, he still remains a natural unsaved man who God communicated to.

.

Your statement is not even close to factual. It is in fact a lie. The Word says Christ died for all. Period, the end of the sentence. Nothing is added or taken away. You are flat out calling God a liar to say anything else. I do not serve a God that would create a people so He could destroy them. That He would let them live and suffer in sin with no hope. THAT is satanic, THAT is like the Muslim god. That is NOT the God I serve. The God I save is willing that no one should perish, that's what He told us. He is able and willing to save. And I thank Him for it.

I don't believe that there are contradictions in the scriptures. What are you going to do with Isaiah 63:11?
In rereading my prior reply to you, I realized that probably wasn't clear enough. God, as Christ, is the quickening spirit (see 1Co 15:45 below), Becoming indwelt by the Holy Spirit is not synonymous with making someone saved - it is as a result of having become saved. The purpose for it is to impart the fruit of the Spirit unto the saved. IMHO, salvation itself occurs when God takes His elect from under the law of sin and death and places them under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, with the indwelling coming from and because of that.

BTW, the "last Adam" as quickening spirit was Christ.

[1Co 15:45 KJV] 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.

You must not know much about other religions, they all command man to act in order to earn favor with “God”. They all claim man has ability of his own free will to become right with “God”. As I said, your emotions are blinding you to basic truth.

I am sorry that I came across as I believe in Calvinism, I do not. I am not a fan of Calvin or his practices as I understand history.

I do however believe in predestination and election according as the scriptures speak it.

I do not make the judgement as to who is or is not elected. I am trying to make my own calling and election sure and to encourage others to do the same.

I do not believe that I shut up heaven because of my belief in the scriptures. I believe that your projections of what I believe or am doing are not consistent with what I actually do and believe, because you do not truly know me, but are seeing me through the eyes of the argument here (I believe).

Which is why I often try to appeal to those that hold the Calvinist doctrine not to make divisions.

I've heard mentioned before, and which I believe to be true, that all of the religions of world fall into one of two mutually exclusive forms of belief: 1) solely by grace, or 2) solely by works. And in being mutually exclusive, there can be no intermingling of the two.
True Christianity exclusively embodies grace alone.

Let's look at it (within its context, of course.)
1 Cor 2
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

It appears that when a man is born again, he gains the mind of Christ. That makes perfect sense. He gains the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which brings peace and understanding. This can only happen when a man calls upon the name of the Lord to be saved. One obvious does not have, nor does he need, the mind of Christ in order to call upon the name of the Lord. The mind of Christ follows after, not before.
God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in spirit and in truth. Are you contending that the natural man, that cannot discern the things of the Spirit, and thinks them to be foolishness, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned, will call upon the name of a spiritual Lord?

Romans 10 is directed by Paul to the biggest part of spiritual Israel (Rev 5:9) who are a disobedient and gainsaying (stubborn) people, (Rom 10:21), because they sought their righteousness not by faith, but as if it were by the works of the law, for they stumbled at that stumblingstone (Rom 9:33).

Salvation=deliverance, saved=delivered and save=deliver, according to Greek interpretation.

Rom 10, verse 1 begins by Paul praying for the disobedient Israel that they might be saved (delivered from their ignorance). He affirms that they have a ZEAL of God (defending God), but not according to knowledge, for they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, (by their works), having not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God..

Zeph 3:11-13, gives more on explaining how spiritual Israel is divided by the disobedient part and the remnant of Israel, who are an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. Paul is one of the remnant.

Most on this forum are among the disobedient Israel (lost sheep of the house of Israel) who are depending upon their works of righteous for their eternal deliverance.

Actually I assumed you were not Calvinist. I also believe in predestination and I believe that those that become saved are the elect. I just don't believe that God chooses who is elect. I believe He knows who will come, but I do not believe He created some for destruction. The issue is if you are involved in evangelism and outreach you need to know what the Word says. So I am not speaking specifically of you, I was talking about the die hards of Calvinism.

Nope, I don't believe that. Saved by grace for good works. You're wrong, I do not believe that.

I don't care what other religions teach. I care about what the Word of God says. We are saved by grace for good works. Done, over. Debunked.

I do not intend to argue anything but feel that I must clarify that according to Romans 9:7-23 specifically verse 11, that it is according to election and having nothing to do with what we do.

Again, I do not seek to prove anything, but I want to be faithful to what the Word says.

The Christian gospel is the only gospel of grace, ALL other religions teach a works gospel.

What is behind every satanic works religion?
Behind every religion of works is the satanic notion that man is ABLE, that man has some ABILITY to become right with God by his own free will. I call it the satanic seed of ability 🤷‍♂️

Pelagius (c. 355 – c. 420AD), an ascetic and philosopher from the British Isles, taught that God could not command believers to do the impossible, and therefore it must be possible to satisfy all divine commandments.”
God would not command man something he wasn’t ABLE to do therefore man must be able to believe unto salvation… Wiki.

It goes back even further though, Peter and Paul dealt with those Jews who “believed” that taught faith plus works. 🤷‍♂️
It’s the default position of fallen man and those who hate the gospel of grace to retain some level of man’s ability to please God but I digress

Agreed, as the old hymn says "Not of good that I have done, nothing but the blood of Jesus."
