I know what you mean. I warned a former student about the tech, like Elon Musk's brain implant. I was surprised that he was looking forward to getting it as soon as possible.
Horrors! If only they could see... I am realizing even more, just since being on here, that you can lead a camel to water but you cannot make him drink. So sad, but still there are many that just don't know and appreciate the heads up.

Then why do you post about something you have no interest in?

Just don't pay your taxes and hide all your money in a swiss bank account then.

Sorry your posts don't make sense. I'm sure there are plenty of Dads in the US who take the Glass Castle approach to education.
I know there are christian teachers, librarians and other public servants who care about these issues because I've known some. I have only respect for them. However, I have not seen the public school system change to accommodate Bible believing Christians. The few exceptions have been small public schools where the teachers and principals were Christians. I was heavily invested in helping to bring the light into public schools, also educating Christian schools as well as home schoolers. I started forming my opinions on education from the time I was a teenager. I took as many classes in education that were available for a Veterinary and Animal Sciences major at a major university. As a believer who is in God's Word, I hope to see young people get saved and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Does that make sense?

On the contrary homeschoolers greatly outperform public school kids. Your ignorance is incredible.

1. I have homeschooled 3 kids. There are several very good teaching programs that I used. One was excellent at teaching algebra, one was excellent at teaching geography (both US and worldwide) and there were other award winning software programs.

2. Every week we went to the public library and picked up books. I used lists that are easily available and searchable. They learned english by reading books at their level. My kids each read over 50 books a year, over 3 years we are talking about close to 200 books, many of which won pulitzer prizes. The authors were their "teachers". They taught them history, science, english, literature, etc.

I homeschooled my two oldest because they had come from China and didn't speak a word of english and would have gone into the sixth grade and been lost. Three years later they both entered the public high schools, they both were valedictorians of their schools, and no one at the school knew that english was not their first language. When my daughter was a senior they were concerned that she had not taken any foreign language, that meant she would not have an advanced degree and yet she was going to be the valedictorian of a school of 2,000 kids. I asked if you can test out of this, they said yes. I said give her the Chinese test. They had no idea she was fluent in Chinese. When my son was about to graduate he met with the principal who was also Chinese and she commented on how excellent his Chinese was saying that most Americans spoke with an accent. I told her he had been born and raised in Taiwan, she had no idea.

I also homeschooled my youngest child who had a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist and needed a para to walk around school because they were concerned he would fall down the stairs. We taught him the violin which helped his fine motor skills and gave him perfect pitch so he no longer needed the occupational therapist or speech therapist. I took him hiking up mountains which was extremely difficult for him. It would take us 12 hours to do what others were doing in six. Sometimes I had to tie a belt to my pack that he could hold onto. But after a few months he no longer needed a para because he could do the stairs at school without issue. He graduated as an honor student.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
When I wrote a research paper for a class at the college of education, I compared homeschool standardized data with public. Everything you mentioned was what I found to be true according to the metadata. The same is true for my personal experiences and observations. I tried to determine what was the most important factor. After all, there are exceptional students in public and Christian schools too. In a previous post, you mentioned it. It bears repeating.....parental involvement. As important as other factors are, I believe that parental care and involvement has more to do with the successful outcomes of their children.

You'll never convince Dude, but I can attest to everything you said to be repeatable by parents like yourself.

I would also encourage you to look at Krashen's input hypothesis. The idea is that you can maximize the rate at which someone learns with comprehensible input. If you give me a book and I know 98% I will be bored. If you give me a book and I understand 50% it will be too tough sledding and I'll get frustrated. So what you want is the happy medium where people are learning on every page of the book, but 90% of what is on the page is comprehensible so the new word, the new concept, the new expression is not overwhelming.

When you read a book you learn the ideas, you learn the story, you learn the vocabulary and you learn the grammar. Your brain is taking it all in. That was my idea, feed my kids books that they could understand but also learn from and move from one book to the next like walking up steps up a mountain. I was trying to maximize the comprehensible input. When they first came we had to start with the most basic books, A is apple, B is bat. We would get 25 of those books a week. It took six months to get to E.B. White. But books like Charlotte's web and Stuart Little we would read one book a day. About a month later they were reading books at the sixth grade level, 300 pages or more, no pictures, and those they would do one a week. There are kids in the public school who haven't read a single book on their own. Because of this the english departments have become desperate to read a couple of books over the four years, but since their reading levels are so poor they are reading books at the 5th or 6th grade level. My kids went from Kindergarten to sixth grade level in about 8 months. After that they really took off and by the third year (8th grade) they were reading quite a few pulitzer prize winning books. Things like Jared Diamond and James McPherson.

However I had to teach them english and that included listening comprehension, not just reading comprehension. Our library had books on tape. I loved those, they forced the kids to read along at a good clip and they had many different voices and accents.

I didn't teach them to write or speak. That is the beauty, our brain learns by imitation. They learned to write by reading. They learned to speak by listening. As a result they didn't have an accent and they were very adept at understanding others regardless of their accent.

For those that are wise.

It plainly says that all the world was deceived by her sorceries. We have been warned numerous times to Beware, Don't be Deceived, Be Vigilant and Sober, Watch and Pray, Receive a Love of the Truth that we might be saved.

I would not bank on "it will be obvious". We are called to gather so much more as we see this day approaching and exhort one another, lest we be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Not saying that is what you are doing but, I know many that are.
Sorry but you're taking the beware and to be sober out of context. We need to be sober because our minds and flesh are more willing to do sinful things. We become easier pray. Revaluations will give you a better view. I understand some people do not like Robert breaker but he is knowledgeable. Hope you watch

I watched enough to know that I don't trust his telling of events. I believe what Jesus told His disciples to tell us in Matt. 24.

I was being general in the references I wrote there. I still believe that there are plenty of warnings from Jesus and the disciples to not let any man deceive you. I do not believe that what I shared is out of context. Our carnal mind cannot receive the things of GOD. This is why we are to be sober and watchful, always walking in the Spirit. So we can see spiritually and not be deceived by the deceitfulness of sin or others.

It says that the whole world was deceived. I am warned not be deceived. The only way I will not be deceived is to stay close to the Lamb of GOD, listening to His voice, watching and praying knowing that He has warned me of things to come in His Word and by His Spirit.

I am only trying to be faithful to put the brethren in remembrance of what the LORD and the disciples said.

Thank you for the article. The tech is widespread in the CCP cities as a model for the world. There are people trying to come up with ways to defeat the facial recognition software. It looks like the beast system is one step ahead, or more, while the rest are in reaction mode. That's not a recipe for success. I think that preparing to live outside the system is key to survival as the system makes it more difficult to function dependent upon technology. Any thoughts on that may be helpful.

It's been since 2019/20 or so(beginning of pandemic) that I did searches for this but in basic they use the same tech. they use to overlay what someone would look like if they where trying to avoid detection by investigators. So the software knows what we would look like if we tried to alter our appearance i.e. we grew a beard, dyed our hair, grew our hair or shaved our head ect.,,,but in this case if wore a covid mask...

why dont you teach then

I dont see anything but YOU complaining.

sorry.

God cares for all children regardless if they are from heathens backgrounds or not. Jesus said they would not be forbidden to enter his Kingdom.

Join the PTA if you concerned otherwise you just wasting hot air on the young people you profess to care about.

Yes I agree. But when it comes to the mark, Satan wants people to openly reject Christ. Like how we publicly announce that we accept Christ, Satan wants people to publicly reject Christ.

I don't think he is complaining so much about the children as much as the system...

But the scripture says they were deceived to do that.

The best way to improve public school education and expose the leftists and communists and all the hateful things they do is with homeschool.

Imagine all the families filling Sunday school with their kids filling them all week with a coordinated homeschool being coordinated at church. You would have forty or sixty parents that could help and a few retired teachers. Just like the Lord's day meeting everyone would be welcome, but if you don't want your kid taught the Bible this is not the school for you. If you don't want them starting the day with prayer, not the school for you. Now despite the fact that none of our tax money would help these schools and despite the fact that all of our tax money is still going to the public school you will see these schools (probably designed to go up to 8th grade at most) produce the best students for high school. Imagine everyone of them entering the 9th grade having read over 200 excellent books and everyone of them having a black belt in karate as well as playing an instrument and having years of experience playing or singing in the church music ministry. The contrast will be incredible and the waste of money by these public schools will be on full display. People will be outraged, why are we paying for this waste?

Our God can do this. We can compete with public school. They get trained teachers, they get $10,000 a year in tax revenue from our families, and they get all the schools and resources that taxpayers have bought. No problem, we'll give them all those advantages. All we need is Jesus and we will still put them to an open shame.

Now if you pull 10% of the elementary school kids out it will be catastrophic to public school. You will get many Christians who are elementary school teachers who would gladly work at the church with this homeschool ministry.

Every year you will see more and more kids going to homeschool which means they will have a hiring freeze on for years in the public school.

Yes he wants them all to proclaim they worship "science" and "reason" instead of Jesus.

I'm not sure to that extent or not....not saying your wrong. But when someone is going to receive the mark on their hand and forehead, they will have to deny Christ. There will be no guessing if you are taking the mark. You will know

Unless they offer it as a lifesaving vaccine... Not saying this present vaccine is the Mark.

I do believe this is the avenue they will use and the whole world is ripening to take it. Not realizing that it is the Mark.

I do not believe the vaccine is the mark of the beast, I think that is an error that should not be spoken because it creates confusion. However, I do believe this vaccine is just like the Israelis in the wilderness being bitten by serpents.
