He also, as far as is recorded, never condoned what they did. He always loved them, but told them to quit sinning.... what do you think Jesus would have said if the woman that had been married 5 times and was now living with a man that wasn't her husband told him, "thanks for the visit, but I'm going to continue living the way I want".... ?
He told that to the Pharisees..... he told the woman "go, and stop your sinning".... . how do you argue with that?
First jesus hears thier accusation against her according to Moses law
“Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.”
John 8:5-6 KJV
Then he says what he knows will drive her accusers away and leave him alone with her ( this is her being saved by grace the law said she must be put to death ( Leviticus 20:10) Jesus saves her by turning the law back in them using it to accuse and tempt
“So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”
John 8:7-9 KJV
now that he’s saved her life and driven away those accusing her and wanting to stone her to death when she’s alone with the lord being saved from death
“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. ( because Jesus sent them all away and made them look at themselves )
And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.”
John 8:10-13 KJV
Jesus saves us by his mercy d teaches us by his true blessing us and turning us from our iniquity not by the law that condemns and kills but by the truth and grace of the gospel
pauos doctrine is the same he established “ your forgiven “ then his letters turn to “ no go and stop sinning d start loving others “
