Lanolin, I hope you are not upset about Dinah. And Dino he is Fred Flinstones' pet not a fossil.
why am I upset about Dinah?
I just want to know what happened to her. I think she had a hard lot in life, being the only sister with twelve annoying brothers.

Isnt dino a cartoon? Im talking about real dinosaurs, the ones whos fossilised skeletons keep turning up in museums.

My guess is that no one knows the answer to either question. My Bible knowledge is not that good. But if you say her brothers were annoying ok. But is this maybe a 'representation' of what was coming with 'twelve apostles'? And even though Dinah: In Heaven there is no gender as I understand so the feminine aspect is not out of probable representation of Jesus. And twelve that probably would be annoying if He didn't have an 'abundance' of The Spirit poured out upon Him.? Maybe crazy? Dino is cartoon>>>LOL

That's talking about a person's unrighteous works being burned up, not the person. A person's works will be "revealed by fire." If all his works are burned up, he will still be saved, but only as, or like, a person who went through a fire.

(NIV) If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

I'm not sure what you mean.
For example, sin is like darkness when it is in us, and in Genesis God divides light from darkness, The difference is that the bright flame is the one that separates the darkness sin from inside of you as it is burning,And then the darkness leaves your body like burning smoke.

Dinah could possibly represent Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, not being the original twelve disciples, but reaching out nevertheless - like how Dinah wanted to marry outside her family, and her fiance was prepared to convert to be with her. Perhaps?

I am pretty sure most dinosaurs perished in the flood. Only a flood could have fossilised so many skeletons. Perhaps only the smallest dinosaurs could fit on the ark, so thats why we still have some lizards today.

Maybe the dinosaurs were biblical giants, which is a little hard to believe, and maybe God changed their human-shaped bones to look like dinosaurs after they died, so no giant remains have ever been found.

Maybe all our opinions are valid to a degree. How accurately do we perceive what is occurring on a daily basis? How can anyone know perfectly what happened in the past?

Maybe!>>There was a replacement for Judas and so it was still 12 and then as you point out, Paul, and he was quite different than the 12 apostles of the back water district. Paul was the 'educated' one. So Paul from Tarsus already was more likely to be open to 'outsiders'.

As described in the book of Enoch, women who were married with angels were turned into sirens,or sea monsters.

so it's not surprising that their children were turned into "dinosaurs".Even though it's not described in Enoch, God does have this power.

Never read Enoch.>>>Agreed....God can do and possibly has done many things which we are not aware of. Recently my interest is again on atomic stucture and atoms are incredible part of everything and no one truly understands this most 'fundamental' unit of mass. God does!!!! He created all atoms and possibly knows how many there are. That number is so big that our recently upgraded way of 'labeling' is still far from giving any sense of what that number could be. Maybe 1 with 10 to the trillionth power zeros. Wild guess!! mole is 6.023 x 10 to 23rd power zeros.

I personally experienced a misunderstanding with an older person,
In fact, I did not have any conflict with him that day, but people around me thought I was not respectful enough to the old man. Anyway, they thought I was wrong. At night, I looked in the mirror and found that my face had changed into the old man's face.

James
1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

1 Corinthians
13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

I understand that with most (maybe all) "dinosaur" skeletons, most of the bones are manufactured rather than discovered. It could be that dinosaurs as commonly depicted never even existed, other than the beasts mentioned in the bible which might better be described as dragons or sea monsters.

Fair point. Where were the riots while Jesus was being crucified?
Jesus answered that question:
John 18:36 KJV
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

And Fyi, I was going to write something else. But I was praying when I clicked reply and immediately God brought that verse to my remembrance, so I copy/pasted it.

What I was going to say is similar but not as clearly stated. It is this:

Rioting is a response of the flesh. And there almost was a riot...when Pilate tried multiple times to release Jesus.

Matthew 27:24 KJV
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Think about it. Who were the instigators of that potential riot? The self-righteous, envious, hypocritical, moral/religious "leaders" of the day. (Sound familiar to what you hear on the news?)

Mark 15:9-15 KJV
But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? [10] For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. [11] But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. [12] And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews? [13] And they cried out again, Crucify him. [14] Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. [15] And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Even Peter's attempt to start a riot against the soldiers who came to get Jesus in the night was not acceptable to Jesus.

Matthew 26:51-52 KJV
And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. [52] Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

John 14:12
I've always wondered how it is that those of us that believe are unable to do the "greater things" that Jesus promised.
Do we just not have enough faith?
IMHO... Part of the problem is not understanding what constitutes greater things. Part is not being taught (by spiritual "leaders") how to ask and receive answers from God. And Part is not understanding what truly constitutes a believer.

And believe it or not, those are not intended to be insults.

God's word is truth. He cannot lie. So if we can't see the truth happening, the fault lies in us rather than his word. (We know that much)

The further problem is that even if we acknowledge that the problem is in us, we still (and also) have trouble seeing the problem(s) specifically. That's why it was important for me to list them... specifically.

Jesus said that if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the ditch. So the first piece of advice is this... If you are realizing that you are unable to see/find those kinds of things on your own, please admit to God that you might still be blind. Secondarily, if your leaders are not encouraging and teaching you HOW to actually go to God and get answers...the reason could be that they themselves are still blind and unable to do so. Jesus said that can happen. But how happy are we to think WE could be the follower of one of those?

Thirdly, not everyone is in that same boat.

There are groups out there doing the works that Jesus did. (Healings, miracles, etc.) But they are often scrutinized as cults or radicals or given some other negative label by those who DON'T do anything even close to what could be considered "greater works". And yet again, there are scriptural warnings of that outcome:

2 Timothy 3:5 KJV
Having a form of godliness, but denying [rejecting; not admitting, not having, or not using] the power thereof: from such turn away.
Galatians 4:29 KJV
But as then, he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Jude 1:10 KJV
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: ...

If you are in a group that does NOT have "greater works" operating in themselves... and further they speak evil of those that do or might... perhaps you should seek God diligently on your own (away from their 'advice') and let God himself teach you. That's what Moses, Jesus, John the Baptist, and Paul did.

Galatians 1:15-18 KJV
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, [16] To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: [17] Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. [18] Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Love in Jesus,
Kelby

It's an interesting topic, so you think those so-called "dinosaur" bones are really giant bones, and they were just put together to look like "dinosaurs" to hide the truth.
I don't know if that's what you mean.

I did not hear you say that the dinosaur was drowned by the flood, I have listened to others introduce and explain the reason.
It also explains how long ago dinosaurs were, and it turns out they weren't that long ago.

Answers in Genesis is quite a good site, but then theres also Got Questions.
Got Questions isnt foolproof though, I once asked them a question they couldnt find an answer for in the Bible. It was about rock music in church. Why?
