all i said was they [[understood]] Steven. i do not doubt anything else. but i have never beat someone to a pulp unless i first understood their intent in either words or actions.
Even though they did not believe in Jesus, nor did they have the faith that is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, I believe that they understood that Steven was accusing them of consenting to the death of Jesus.

I think their comments show they are not actually familiar with Acts 6 or Acts 7.
I think anyone who had actually read those chapters and understood the narrative would have ever been able to arrive at @The_Watchers_2017 conclusion. Because it is not there.

Some of God's, well intended, born again children have been indoctrinated from a very young age to believe in a false doctrine.

God's inspired word is not written to the, spiritually, unborn, because they cannot discern spiritual things, but they are written to give instructions as to how God wants his adopted children to live their lives as they sojourn here in this world. The remnant of us that have been revealed the knowledge of Christ's finished work on the cross, are instructed to preach, and teach those newborn babes in Christ that are going about preaching and teaching the false doctrines of works.

We all (his elect) were newborn babes in Christ until we gradually grew into adulthood, being taught the first principles of the oracles of God (Heb 5:12).

Those of us that have been taught, the knowledge of Christ's finished work on the cross, should try to teach our brethren in Christ, who do not have this knowledge, in the manner set forth in 2 Cor 6.

Yes. However, I think we must exercise discernment as well.
When we later encounter obstinacy and callous rebuff of positive instruction from those we at first imagine are those unlearned babes, I think we need realize they go out from the righteous path and angrily rebuff instruction because they are not one of us.

You're not conversing there with someone who sees the message in the words of God.

Their flippant remarks are those of someone very young. 1 Corinthians 2:14.
I’ve been very cordial and respectful to you but you prove yourself to be an elitist punk. My time corresponding with you is now over with regards to your heresy.

Thank you for showing my observations of your behaviors toward FGC are an inate part of your nature.

Christianity is Elitist!
That is why your Universalist Sophistry fails. Because you do not comprehend the words of The Word that established all things for his glory before creation of anything at all.

Wrong again. Universalists believe everyone has eternal life. I’m not even close to being a Universalist. Another epic fail. smh

Respectfully, I think that we should be very careful in trying to count who the elect are.

1 Chronicles 21 - David had Israel counted, and God was displeased with David for counting Israel, and for his punishment, God sent pestilence upon Israel, and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

I could make a protracted post as to what God tells us as to how to discern the difference between those who are in Christ, even new converts who are still open to learning the word, and those who are not at all.

To any degree , when Christ is in us and we are in Christ we do not strive to invalidate the depth of his word.

1 John 2:4 says, “If you say you know him and do not keep His Commandments, the truth is not in you and you are a liar.”

Lastly, and with respect, I don't believe the census and David applies here.
God directed David to count Israel. David obeyed.

Later in a different passage Satan commanded David to take a census. Did David obey? He did.

Blessings. 🕊️✝️💕🙏

😳It's odd how posts are not posting correctly. I tried to edit as best as I could to make my reply to @ForestGreenCook legible.

You could be right, but did not God say that the elect were so many that they were not able to be counted, as the sand in the seashore, and the stars in the sky, innumerable?

since we cannot be regenerated by the Holy Spirit until we first HEAR the Gospel and secondly BELIEVE it is TRUE to ACCEPT Christ as Lord and Savior, then EVERY human being is a Candidate to be Saved!

you really should think before you post. you always destroy your own argument.

I know Judges 7 spoke of the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east in those terms first. Even including the numbers of their camels.

What passage are you referring to?

Since God desires the salvation of all humanity, and since Christ died for the sins of the whole world, if God were choosing people for salvation, He would save absolutely everyone. But because God demands and commands obedience to the Gospel, it means that every person who hears or reads the Gospel must make a decision and a choice.

To say that God chooses some for salvation and others for damnation is a damnable doctrine. That is a distortion of the meaning of predestination and divine election. Yet a huge number of Christians believe and promote this nonsense.
I believe you have the wrong perspective of the situation. WHen Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they developed a conscience which is handed down to all of their descendants. Where there is no law, there is no transgression. We are all born with this knowledge of right and wrong and therefore are under the curse of the Law. In God's kingdom there is perfect justice and mercy. Perfect justice dictates that we all be condemned. If God condemns everyone, then He would not be merciful. If He saved everyone, there would be no justice. His only choice is to save a few.

The curse of the law is not the knowlegde of right and wrong. The curse is death for those that transgress it.
It you never transgressed the the law, you would not be cursed.

True God needs to be just, but is merciful also.

It is the plan of salvation that enables justice and mercy to be given. They Perfectly meets at the cross.
Few are saved because they do not accept salvation that Jesus offers. God has done all to save everyone but will not force people to accept and love Him.

Damnable? You might wish to reconsider a judgement that is reckoning unto God, once you've read his own words.

Romans 9:15 "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.''

Proverbs 16:4 Adonai made everything for its purpose,
even the wicked for the day of disaster.

Psalm 58
God Who Judges the Earth
To the choirmaster:

1. Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods?
Do you judge the children of man uprightly?
2
No, in your hearts you devise wrongs;
your hands deal out violence on earth.

3
The wicked are estranged from the womb;
they go astray from birth, speaking lies.
4
They have venom like the venom of a serpent,
like the deaf adder that stops its ear,
5
so that it does not hear the voice of charmers
or of the cunning enchanter.

6
O God, break the teeth in their mouths;
tear out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!
7
Let them vanish like water that runs away;
when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted.
8
Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime,
like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.
9
Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns,
whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away![c]

10
The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance;
he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11
Mankind will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous;
surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

ROMANS 8:29-30:
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

EPHESIANS 1:3-12:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ), who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Messiah (Christ), just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Messiah (Christ), both which are in heaven and which are on earth – in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Messiah (Christ) should be to the praise of His glory.
