Praying for Satan. Can we? Should we?

There is no way that I can agree. It's not just Revelation 20:10. There are references in Jude and 2 Peter that say the same thing. Satan is the cause of all the problems of men. Even after Jesus rose from the dead, Satan kept attacking the Church, which he does to this moment. There is more hope for Hitler than Satan. And Hitler has no hope.

Yes I agree that many of us are weird. I'm no exception. So that being said I am looking forward to seeing Jesus and our Father one day and getting the truth on so many things we thought were certainties but never were. I guess it doesn't stop us from seeking the truth as Jesus said, Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open unto you. Now that's pretty awesome. Thanks for being willing to seek truth together with me and again for being understanding and forgiving of my shortcomings. God our Father is so full of loving kindness and compassion towards us all and for this I am and will be eternally grateful.

Yes Gideon, again I agree with Peter, Jude and John with reference to Satan the Devil being cast into hell, delivered into chains of darkness, and 'kept in eternal chains under darkness' for judgement. What judgements will be made on that day we don't know exactly, the details are not recorded. I'm not saying that God didn't reveal all the details to any of the writers of the books in the bible, just that they are not recorded for some reason. This is where the promise of Jesus comes in regarding the Spirit of Truth,

If we pray to the FATHER on behalf of satan and his angels, we are going against His Will and are in alignment with evil.

Never align yourself with the spiritual enemy(satan) who is a liar, murderer and thief.

What do you mean when you say 'against His will'?

No shortcomings we can't know everything at once. But this is something to be careful about. Satan made his choice and his end is already sealed. We could get ourselves in some bad situations if we are not careful.

When I met my husband he use to watch ghost shows, those reality shows, so called, where they find spirits that have not crossed over. This is something I never watched or believed in. So he asked me why. I said that these were not people that hadn't crossed over, but demons pretending to be people that had passed away. I think I scared him a bit, and then he watched the show less and less. Satan is real and we must be very careful of our attitude toward him. Your thought comes from a good heart, but a mistaken ideal. We all learn, I like that my pastor says he's still learning and we can learn together. Blessings.

Great truths you quoted there. I'm still not sure what you were referring to in your previous post. But you don't need to go there if you don't want to.

We are instructed by the LORD to only pray for the Human Family of Creation = Man/Woman = Male/Female made is His image.

Our model of Prayer is how Jesus taught the disciples to pray. Matthew cha[ter 6 & 7. Nothing in there even suggests prayer to or for the devil. Prayer is the man praying to God through Jesus and prayer is offered up for man, not the devil. Jesus never prayed for Satan, Jesus rebuked Him. Jesus even used the word of God to refute Satan's lies. We are told our adversary seeks to destroy us.

the word of God never tells us to pray for him that is clear enough. We are instructed by Jesus to tread on all the works of the devil. Mark 16. Jesus never said anytime in scripture to pray for the devil.

I don't think it's a good idea to pray for Satan. Trust that God's judgments are righteous and just.

all the truth you need is in the word of God. Jesus said HE is the "Truth" the only truth. follow him.

The truth is already known and was revealed, you just refuse to see the truth, Satan is toast! You mix nice words with lies, you are quite deceitful.

Did you get this word by revelation from God directly? f so great. Please tell me more. I don't recall this written down by any of the contributors of the protestant bible book. But maybe I missed that one. Is it in the catholic bible or Ethiopian one which I haven't read with its 81 books?
