Hi Sula. I think we all struggle with this at times. There's so many distractions that take our focus away from the Lord, and godliness.
Is there something specific that you are having difficulty with, that you feel comfortable talking about here, or is it a more generalised concern about obedience to God?

Thank you very much , yes I’m praying about someone, and I want to have Gods blessing in my relationship, I want to make sure that I’ll be a blessing to him and he will also be the one who will help me daily in my walk with the Lord . Praying for Knowing Gods Will on that . Thank you for your prayers and support

I would say, keep praying about that, but keep in mind that everyone goes through ups and downs. People make choices, good and bad. I don't believe in the "perfect" person for anyone. If He's serious about following the lord in all he does, and your serious about following the lord in all you do. Then I think that is as good as it gets for any relationship. Lots of forgiveness.

Long distance relationships are not easy. If one or both you are good with traveling, then I think those relationships can be made to work. But I'm not a traveler. I have a learning disability that gives me extra problems when I'm on the road. I also have physical problems with my stomach, and allergies that makes traveling around hard. That also boosts my levels of anxiety. Which then makes my stomach feel even worse.
Anyways, when I first got the internet. 2002, I primarily used it to talk to women. I developed many little online long distance relationships that didn't go anywhere. About 5 of those women, I talked too on the cell phone. But that is as far as it went. I'll never forget the woman that broke up with me. I remember doing a lot of praying, and thinking over, how can we find a way of getting together, and all of a sudden I get a message saying: "I just don't feel the same about you anymore" I went into depression for a month. When I came out of it, I sorta backed off on the long distance thing. I just won't allow myself to get my hopes up. Now days I prefer women who live in my backyard. Because that way, I can be with her, in real life, like the way God intended.
With all of that being said.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask that you will make this relationship work. And if it doesn't, I ask that you will protect my friend's heart. And help these two to manage things so that there is no pain or suffering.
In Jesus Name.

Sula, I see that you've posted another prayer request, that one for a broken heart. I'm sorry to hear you are suffering the pain of that. Many of us here can empathise with you, but I realise that's not much comfort to a hurting heart. 😞 Does that new prayer request mean that the confusion over your relationship and God's will, in respect of your OP, has been resolved, or is that a separate issue? Sorry if this question of mine seems insensitive, but it's hard to know what to say or pray when you are unsure of the facts. Shalom, Tony
Thank you very much , if you can pray for my heart be one with God . I want to have his desires in my heart and do his will in every area of my life . Now I’m praying for my church that has being attacked by the enemy with confusion and divisions. And about my relationship with Jesus to be more and more deep so I can understand clearly his directions, thank you very much
No problem Tony , there is a lot of issues in my life right now ( my dads health , my health , someone that I have being praying about and no being able to met personally because of a lot of barriers, Covid restrictions and all that , and also my church suffering with division and other things that I have being 😢 out to God to understand what he wants to do and how to make decisions in all those different issues , thank you for you prayer May the Lord bless all of you for being here for me and praying over my life and loved ones and church

Ouch, you certainly are being put through the mill at the moment! Scriptures that come to mind that might help, include....those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, and.....be anxious about nothing. May the Lord bring encouragers and encouraging incidents by you that will lift you up and help you deal with the problems at hand. Please rest in Him, Sula.
