I am still reeling from your post scolding me for speaking of God's law, are these posts of yours a kettle calling the pot black?

I've said as much before and it hasn't offended you til now.
These post have nothing whatsoever to do with you.
If however it stings your heart,maybe you need a different perspective on your study habits or maybe the light source you're using.

YOU lack right comprehension @Blik .

I am NOT posting about the law as you say but about HEARING what God has to say in scriptures,ALL SCRIPTURE,NOT JUST ONE ASPECT.

I think it might just be GOOD if you never,ever post anything else about the law......let's see if you can.

Born again people live under grace,the law of liberty given through Jesus,not the law of sin and death given through Moses.

Let's agree to feed each other with a loooooong handled spoon. This is a pot of contention that needs no stirring!

This law of liberty, does that mean that we are free to sin if we choose? Your advise for me not to ever mention that God gives us law, is that from your prayer, do you think God wants me to never mention his law again? Do you think that because we live under grace not law, it is a directive to us to ot listen to God's law?

Law defines what is pleasing to God and what is not, your post can be defined as law. Yet you approve your post and disapprove of anything I post about law. How is that?

This is all so bewildering, and something is not in tune with the Lord' ways. We are to support each other and help each other in our walk with the Lord.

First off,YOU SAID THAT YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT NEVER EVER POSTING ANYTHING ABOUT THE LAW......I AGREED

Secondly,we can NOT help each other in grace by expounding we still obey the law......the LAW is death.....which you do.


Where do we see of God? O. T
Who is the N. T. about ,Jesus who paid the penalty of our sins debt that the law exposed.

You cannot be changed nor taught by anyone but the Spirit at this stage in your relationship to God.

Years of putting it out there has cemented it as the only truth in your mind.

There are many things in God's word that he HATES,DESPISES AND ARE ABOMINAL. This is his view.
He expects purity and righteousness from people that claim him as THEIR GOD!
Recompense or consequences are prevelant in the word as well for those that follow him or reject him.

Be ye sure your sins will find you out for nothing is hidden that shall not be revealed!

LEARNING:
2 Tim:7 EVER LEARNING,and NEVER able to come to the KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH.
The acquisition of KNOWLEDGE or skills through experience.,study,or by being taught is the definition of learning.
Pro.1:5
A WISE man will HEAR and increase learning,and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.
Prov.9:9

For whatever things were written before were written for our LEARNING,that we through the patience and comfort of the SCRIPTURES might have hope.

Does God expect us to learn? He certainly does by listening to and studying his word.
John10:27 My sheep HEAR my voice,and I know them,and they follow me.

Luke8:14 Now the ones ( seeds) that fell among the THORNS are those who,when they have HEARD,go out and are choked with cares,riches,and pleasures of life......some things choke the word of God in the heart ( amusements,greedy for gain and WORLDLY pleasures, recognition of men)

So then Faith cometh by HEARING,and HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.

We are to LEARN of him. I think in this age so many professing believers are learning things in vain,and things that will not draw them closer and promote growth in him.

In God's view.
What has he INSTRUCTED us to learn?
We are to study to SHOW OURSELVES APPROVED OF GOD. It is his approval we seek as our heavenly Father. Not man nor the world,yet I see many people searching irrelevant things to be seen of man and appear as though they have much learning.

Once I though there were many scholarly men here,now I'm looking at the things they are searching for and it's things that DON'T glorify God,nor bring people's attention to him.

Follow God's view,search for salvation,building faith,increase in knowledge,understanding and wisdom to mature.
Seek out in the word scriptures that encourage,edify,instruct,adding the things of God to our soul to increase the kingdom in his glory!
