Brother, you are in error to say Christ words are not for us. Jesus Christ son of GOD came to preach to all repentance and the coming kingdom of GOD, also to uphold the commandments and so much more. Who are the Israelites? Many of the tribes of Israel were lost, disseminated to Europe, America and other countries. You could be a descendant of Israelites and not know it . Do we not all originate from GOD? By saying that the words of Christ are not for us, you put paul before GOD .

What gospel are you trusting for your salvation ?

I think it is important to understand the difference in what reason and purpose Jesus preached and Paul preached. Jesus came to establish the new covanent and kingdom and the audience was for the jews then for the gentiles. Paul was to stand on the new covanent and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the church in general both jews and gentiles

I have known about the gospel of salvation leading me to be born-again since 1969. I'm all set on this. I imagine, most, if not all, on this thread have heard the gospel and have responded in a positive way leading to salvation. I was responding to a member who was wondering what a 'gosel' was as stated in the name of the thread.

It is not about me been right. Its about the scriptures the knowledge of God to read, so we can know we have eternal life through believing Paul's gospel. 1 Corinthians 15: 3,4.

That does indeed look like a gosel.

If you have believed the gospel Paul recieved from Christ you are saved. But you cannot be born again. That was for Israel.

That about sums it up.

Jesus told Nicodemus that unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I will go with what Jesus says rather than what you seem to believe. Jesus said 'one' and no mention of Israel. What you are propagating is in error and misleading in this most important spiritual principal.

I fon't know where he got his understanding if you can call it that or if he was just taught this way but yes he is in error on a lot of things the problem is he is unable to see it.

His fixation on the gospel and what it is and by which we are saved by is turning into an obsession he never posts about anything else and refuses to take council from anyone else either. We should pray for him that his eyes might be opened also that he might be saved because his bio says he is not Christian.

but like Adam and Eve also we’re told that there’s going to be a lot of erroneous doctrine that leads people away like a fish lure it looks so good on the surface “ sounds right to me if we think about the reasoning long enough “if we are willing to grab it but thiers a barbed hook inside the roof of our mouth and another in the tounge That sets us against the truth that’s always meant to save us.

we should always try to discuss the actual Gospel and learn from what Jesus said of course but if the serpent can teach us not to do that then we’re not going to have this

Dr. Gene Kim and his KJV only "real bible believers". He's very good at conveying his ideas, and at theory crafting... but unfortunately he is stuck on this idea that the Jewish apostles' message was only for the nation of Israel (even though they never said that)- and that Paul had a new gospel for the gentiles that was separate from what the Jews had to do.

His ideas are pretty logical, and developed; He doesn't understand James though. He seems to think the story of Abraham's faith can mean one thing to the Jews, and something completely different to the gentiles. He doesn't make the connection between faith and works- how faith works in the believer to produce fruits. He thinks James was written specifically to Jews that will be in the tribulation... kind of a mess.
