The condition for the gift of the spirit is to repent all of these are in second person plural form. Even in the old king james which you claim you li=stern to says repent YE (the plural form of the word you)
Then he tells people to be baptised sis the remmision of sin.
These are third person singular forms (even the KJV version you idolize uses the singular ‘YOU” as apposed to the plural “YE”
So then we have to look at the word Eli’s (for the remmision of sin)
is can be used multiple ways.

I am simply proclaiming what scripture says on the issue, and therefore the Lord's judgments.
When we proclaim the Lord's judgments, we are not personally judging or pointing the finger at anyone.
Just like if I quote 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 to a homosexual, I am not judging him but proclaiming the judgment of the Lord.

I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a direct result of being baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins; unless I received that baptism before that (which I may have; since I received the gift of tongues long before being baptized in Jesus' Name).
