Your first scripture, vs25-26, is pertaining to this realm/earth and is temporary.

Then JESUS shifts into the eternal destination for sin.

Notice in vs25-26 you can get out, while on earth.
Now JESUS uses a stark contrast in vs27-30 but he never mentions them getting out.

So, imho, i do not see how we can pay for our sins thru our suffering - why would Christ have to suffer and die for our sins if we can pay for them through our own suffering in hell?

my friend im sorry for your miss understanding but i could think of many reasons why somebody could die in there sin. there is also impurities we will all need cleaning from as nothing unclean can enter the heavens, befor you stand in the presence of God you must be cleansed the bible says this. but again it goes with what your saying but in a different part of the bible. now i would not want to accuse you of adding to the word of God but because one vevrse does not mention them getting out does not mean that they wont here. especially when the verse befor speaks of never getting out until you have payed every last penny. and then the very next verse teaches you can sin just by looking at a women.

Remember, the LORD said we can get out of jail while on earth.
He is not agreeing with this assessment when He speaks of eternal judgment. That is why He never says - we can get out.
