I think we need to be a little more empathetic, the Christians on this thread who are saying to "please, please get the shot" are not saying it so that you would be harmed, they are saying it because they think if all Christians get it they will feel better, that nagging voice inside will stop because they can say "see everyone else did it".

Are they really refusing? I'm trying to find info about it and all I've found is there was some confusion and they thought they were exempt but they really aren't.

Interestingly enough, I just saw an article that one of the counties in my state of Oregon have exempted police officers from the vaccine.

Not sure if they'll be exempt forever (seems there are folks fighting to force it on them, too) but I can't help but think there's a reason they don't want the "enforcers" taking the jab.

First it is optional, then it is recommended, then you get free fries, or a free lottery ticket, then government employees are mandated, then anyone working for a company of 100 or more is mandated, then all students are mandated, then they take kids away from parents who aren't vaccinated, and then you are classified as mentally ill and sent to wellcamp if you are not vaccinated. Just can't figure out what happens next. I still haven't gotten to the last chapter of my history of the Nazis.

It doesn't change DNA. I accept it can have side effects and some people die physically from it. Like with any other vaccine or medicine. Some kids got sick from MMR and HPV.

surely though people are capable of weighing up the risks themselves? I just think of we talk about physical side effects that's fine.

I don't agree with spreading misinformation about it altering DNA or being a mark. But people make their own choices and Jesus tells us to trust Him and walk our own salvation out. To each their own etc

President Biden on Thursday mandated COVID-19 vaccines for almost all federal workers, but the more than 600,000 letter carriers and administrative staff of the US Postal Service won’t have to get a shot.

The exemption was first reported by Washington Post postal reporter Jacob Bogage, who reported that a White House official told him that “we strongly encourage them to comply with these standards” anyhow.

Biden on Thursday also announced a new Labor Department policy requiring workers at private companies with 100 or more employees to get vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. The USPS exemption was initially believed to allow postal workers to duck the private-sector mandate, too.
