And if I quit alcohol ?
That would be a step in the right direction, but it doesn't automatically make you a good relationship prospect. Your entire view of women and attitude towards relationships needs to change.

From my alcoholism ?
You could make a whole list, and check it twice.

1. Alcoholism.
2. Narcissism/extreme hypocrisy.
3. Inability to take in or comprehend anything said to you.
4. Complete lack of care for anyone but yourself.
5. No life experience, or at least no comprehension of how life works.
6. No sense of personal responsibility.

Since you need everything summarized for you, I put it in list form. And this is just the start.

Normally I don't let online trolls affect me so much, but you are a combination of all the dates I'm glad never worked out, and the relationships I thank God that He got me away from.

But control is necessary as a mean of protection. If theres no protection, theres no love. Love means protection more than anything. If a husband does not control her wife, this may be a sign he does not care about her at all. And this more often than not results in problems which may result in divorce. This is why control is essential. Control is protection.
What in the world...?🤦🏼‍♂️
You have a lot to learn about relationships..the fact that you have never ever had one and are just saying how you'think' it should be leaves you wide open to having completely the wrong attitude to relationship dynamics.
I mean seriously?...🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So basically you are just seeing a mirrored reflection here of the traits you just had to get away from by the grace of God

Not exactly a reflection, but if you took sound bites or inner monologues of the things they said and the way they thought, it would look something like this thread.

And probably just as long. 😓

How does the alcoholism affect your work and ability to drive? Or do you use public transportation?

What are you going to do if your darling princess calls you in an emergency and needs you to come get her and/or your children?

How can you control someone enough to "save her from the dragons" when your own demons have YOU under THEIR control?

In marriage, control is a form of spousal abuse. Who is being protected, the husband or the wife? A husband that resorts to controlling his wife is a sign that he does not trust her.

Because women cheat very much these days. Even if she is a Christian, theres still a chance she is cheating since she can either be doing it in the hidden (fake Christian) or be tempted to it by a seemingly attractive man. Control is key to prevent this.
Holy cra... Holy carp! Holy carp in a can!

The more you talk, the more you remind me of that dude from 1001 Arabian Nights. The real cheerful dude who was so afraid of being cheated on that he kept killing girls so they wouldn't have a chance to cheat on him.

It's a good thing you're not a sultan, or anybody with any authority and power. We don't have Scheherazade as a member of this forum.

Even if she were here, you'd nit-pick every story she told you.

Control is key to prevent this.
Control will often push women into cheating,
as a means of escape from her controller.

Cheating is often sexual but it can also be emotional........................
If a woman develops a relationship with a man other than her husband, this is also cheating,
If a woman is doing this then it is often a big sign that the husband is not fulfilling his duties.

Control can also be the result of love
wrong

I want to control her
BIG RED FLAG

I dont want the "special" guy out there to deceive
but you are supposedly the "special guy" if she's chosen to be with you.....

I want my girl to be the happiest in the world.
She won't be so long as you are controlling her.

Theres nothing more manly than protecting the princess from the dragon.

Nope, there's another option:
but we all already know that you don't want to hear about staying single.

What are your views/opinions about the man wanting to become husband asking the woman's father for her hand in marriage?

while we wait for your reply let me just say this:
I have a young daughter, and she has a VERY PROTECTIVE father (not to mention brothers).
