You are right, when you are healed (accept the gift of the Holy Spirit) you will want to repent and stop sinning. U only have to repent once though. Once I do a U turn, if I U turn again, then Im headed in the original WRONG direction. Our sin is already gone, done, vanished, kaput. God has already wiped the board clean. ONCE THE BILL IS PAID IN FULL, IT IS ALWAYS PAID IN FULL. If we want to ask forgiveness from people we have harmed, and pay restitution, that is another issue.
Jesus does expect us to be obidient to His commands. And what were the only two he isted in order. Love God...Love your neighbor. The rest he did not put in any list of importace.

So, go look it up, what did Jesus command? Did he say dont murderr? Lie, cheat , fornicate?

That is a comprehensive list of all of His commands. SOme are basic repetitions. i.e. the first 1-6 commands, has 6 of them. as does 7-12
the next highest number is 5 commands hence 13-17 then 4, hence 18-21 and so on.

Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Does disobeying God by sinning show your love for God?

Love your neighbor. Does sinning against your neighbor show your love for your neighbor?

When you sin today, do you confess it to the Lord and ask forgiveness?

When you repented, did you do turn around and forsake sin altogether and now live in sinless perfection? When you continue to live in sin, you haven't truly repented because you are being disobedient to Christ's command for sinners to repent.

We must repent and believe the gospel, and when we have truly done so we will have turned from sin in our lives to show our love for God and toward others. If we stumble and sin, we must confess our sin to the Lord, and Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of unrighteousness. Otherwise, when you believe as you believe, then you have not truly repented, and you are certainly not showing your love for God by continuing to live in sin. You have been following false teachings.

Nobody is suggesting that homosexuality is not defined as sin in the Bible. Even the homosexual gentleman on this thread acknowledged this.

The issue is how we deal with members of the Church who are homosexual. My suggestion is that we show them love rather than passive aggression, spiritual abuse or manipulation.
We should not pretend that homosexuality is any worse than any other sin, as some people seem to do.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.......

If we need not repent of our sins then why is the Lord's prayer inclusive of that need?
Further, the Bible tells us in many ways to repent of our sins and always seek forgiveness of our trespasses, past and present on a regular basis.

So, please support your conclusion with scripture, because it appears contrary to scripture.

We do think differently theologically: your thought process is heretical. By your own heretical words you have said you are not saved.

Jesus said in John5:14 "sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.", in John 8:11 "go, and sin no more.", and in Luke 5:32 "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." What do you think He meant?

Jesus said love God and your neighbor. Implied in loving God and your neighbor is you refraining from sinning against God and your neighbor. Sinning with no intent to stop sinning is lawlessness. Do you think you can just keep on sinning and practicing lawlessness and there be no consequences? Jesus will say "I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’" Mt. 7:23.

'Show them love' - This is so weak. You come in here talking about how Christian churches suck basically demanding they his forum tells you how to treat Hs and all you have is 'show them love.' Weak.

As far as preaching to someone else about their pride that seems a bit of a pot/kettle thing.

All have sinned and need salvation..
We need to love the sinner but hate the sin.

Jesus loves everyone regardless of which sin they are practicing. But if we love God we will give our selfish hearts to Him.
"Your will be done Not mine" should be our call every day.
It is not Gods will that we continue as a homosexual.
