Hello sweet Rosemaryx,

Look at Rev. 20:10-15...

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then

Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:10-15 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Revelation 20:10-15&version=NKJV

Notice the false prophet and beast(antichrist) were NEVER thrown into Hell - they went straight into the Lake of Fire alive.

Next, notice after 1,000 years Satan gets thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Then, notice there’s a great white throne judgment and all the dead appear from the sea, death and hell to stand before God to be judge if they are to be given Life or the Lake of Fire.

The Book of Life is searched for their names.....

If God has already judged and condemned them when He put them in Hell, why is He judging them again?

...and IF Hell was FINAL Judgment, why not just go ahead and throw them in the Lake of Fire like He did the false prophet and beast (antichrist)?

....and WHY give Jesus Christ (the ONLY Savior) the keys to Death and Hell?

Oh, the depths and heights of God’s LOVE!(y)

ONLY the Lake of Fire is FINAL JUDGMENT.
@Lafftur ...
Thank you for this reply...
I am going to be honest with you , I have never looked into these things that you have posted , I am growing in the LORD , but not got to this understanding as yet  , but through the Holy Spirit , I know He will give understanding to the things He wants to teach me...

I have new things to think about:giggle::coffee:

@Lafftur ...
Are they not there waiting for Judgement day , they have to be waiting somewhere , have they not been judged already ?
Am just throwing out these questions until I study what you have wrote from the verses...
I mean , we go to be with the Lord , so are those in hell now not already condemned ? , we who are alive in Christ are not condemned...

Great questions!(y)

Always know you can ask the Holy Spirit questions - He loves to teach us God’s Word!

Anything I say, take it to the Holy Spirit- don’t believe me unless the Holy Spirit bears witness that it is true.

Now, to answer your questions...

Only Satan has been judged already and will be thrown into the Lake of Fire after his final deception at the end of 1,000 years.

Not sure about the fallen angels. They are in chains waiting judgment.

The false prophet and antichrist will be immediately judged and thrown into the Lake of Fire at the Lord’s return to Earth.

All the lost souls that died without believing and receiving the saving Blood and Body of Jesus Christ are only judged as NOT being “saved in Christ” so, they go to Hell a place of torment instead of Paradise a place of beauty and pleasure to the soul that loves Jesus Christ.

If a lost tormented soul in Hell calls upon the Name of Jesus Christ to be saved, Jesus can pull them out of Hell and place them in Paradise. ONLY Jesus Christ can do this.

There’s still a journey the saved soul must make to get to the Holy City of the New Jerusalem in Heaven. The journey is designed to restore our souls with God’s Mind, Will and Emotions.

All saved Believers are right now on that journey to restore our souls. It doesn’t matter if we are in Paradise or on the Earth, our saved soul is becoming restored with God’s Word and Holy Spirit.

Just keep loving Jesus Christ and keep stirring up the Father’s Gift of the Holy Spirit within you!

The “work” of Jesus Christ is to save our souls.

The “work” of the Holy Spirit is to restore our souls.

Are we not hidden in Christ , who is now in heaven , sitting on the right side of His Father ?

Your making my brain work lol , and I like that...

You’re a joy!

The renewing of our mind so we can know the perfect Will of God is the journey of the soul...our minds full of the knowledge of God and His Word, our will to choose His Will and our emotions line up exactly to His.

It’s hidden manna in Romans 12...

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Romans 12:2&version=NKJV

Just ponder this scripture with the Holy Spirit... Ask Him what it would be like to be completely transformed.. the Holy Spirit will show you the hidden manna of a restored soul....(y)

What about all of the Old Testament prophets that did not know Christ?
Where are they?

Interestingly, some Old Testament individuals did see Jesus Christ, including Abraham:

"56 [Jesus:] Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

Well...take a look at these two scriptures...:unsure::love:(y)

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
1 Peter 3:18-20 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=1 Peter 3:18-20&version=NKJV

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Water baptism is the sign of covenant just like circumcision. Neither saves but VERY important as a sign of a covenant with God.
That's how my Reporter-like mind reads the Bible. It seems clear that water baptism is a reflection of the description of Spiritual Circumcision found in Colossians 2:9-15. And physical circumcision is also a picture of the Spiritual Circumcision that only Christ offered (though I am inclined to believe in the possibility that John the Baptist was also given this ability . . . to lift the Curse of Adam and Eve from those whom the Lord had chosen. I would also say that the disciples who were sent out without food or water (before Christ had died), these men may have also been given the ability to lift the Curse of the Sinful Nature, for they were allowed to cast out demons (which is a reflection of Spiritual Purity).

Just keep reading God’s Word and the Holy Spirit will reveal all things to you- line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little.
I have been reading and He has been revealing to me for the last 47 years since my new birth and He has not shown me what you are saying about a 2nd chance in hell. That's why I keep asking for Scriptural proof and only get answers like 'keep reading'.
I am beginning to come to this sad conclusion...

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Do agnostics go to hell?
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”

I believe that agnostics would fall under the rejection of Christ. However, if they believe in Him and repent, then they can be saved as well.

Hello Rosemaryx,

I would also agree in that, just as with the church of Laodicea, anyone who continues to be lukewarm, the Lord will vomit out of His mouth. However, I don't think that agnosticism falls under that category, as it would be the same as not believing. Wouldn't you agree?

We all have a moral responsibility toward God. He has given us Ten Commandments as His rule for life. He will judge us according to those Commandments.

Those who judge themselves and find themselves guilty of breaking the Commandments, and then turn to and embrace Christ as Saviour will not be judged further because they have fulfilled their responsiblity to God by putting their lives into the hands of Christ.

Agnostics are not prepared to say definitely that God does not exist, but they say they don't really know, for the reason that they think He might exist, but they don't want bear the moral responsibility toward Him if He does exist. So they try to avoid that responsibility by saying they don't really know and to continue living their life in the way they think is in their own best interest.

moral responsibility doesn't save us it is Jesus :) one who accepts the existence of God and doesn't come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ is not saved.

Demon believe and tremble

That's what I said. When we judge ourselves and find ourselves guilty of breaching the Commandments we turn to Christ as Saviour and that saves us by God acquitting us before the Judgment so we don't come to it.

But I don't believe in easy believerism where a person can join a church and profess Christ without knowing that they are a guilty sinner first. Otherwise they don't know what they are saved from. It is not a matter of being religious and saying "I am a Christian now" and starting to talk the talk and start on the Christian life. The gate to eternal life is narrow, and starts with conviction of one's own sinfulness. Otherwise they have come over the wall and not through the gate, and have a form of godliness but not the power of it.

Jesus spoke about hell 70 times , a place of weeping & gnashing of teeth and more...
He never spoke once about second chances after death , and the bible tells us Today is the day of Salvation...

If we die without Christ , there is no turning back...
...xox...
This issue here is, most of those times are found in Matthew and Revelation
It's not true to say that each of those 70 times are evenly spread about
You won't find hell described in John or any of Paul's writing and only once in Mark. I believe i'm accurately stating the facts here
In fact it's surprising how some places mention it a lot and others not at all, especially Paul who was not shy to pull out the big guns
I'm well aware how the dogma goes, that if one place mentions it, then it applies consistently as a rule over all the places that do not, and the dogma also insists that all places ultimately must be in perfect agreement. But can this be taken too far?

If this denies us the chance to question what it means that the concept of hell should be so varied and is God trying to tell us something here? I just think that he is trying to tell us something. To not legalistically try and create formulae that determine a souls ultimate fate and to keep us guessing as is his privilege. So we are forced to fall back on faith and trust. Jesus consistently did the unexpected and confounded the experts, he has something wonderful to tell us!

So, falling back on a fixed definition is not what he is looking for, it's something else. Something heavenly that's worth all our efforts to protect and express correctly. Something is wrong when we are even asking a question like 'do agnostics go to hell' what kind of dumb question is that?

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
This sword cuts two ways.

Show me the passage that says judgement happens before judgement day (the day when people are called out of hell to be judged)
