All of that stuff is terrible that happened with the abuse. I never met this man and don’t know everything about him so I can’t really comment other than to say I hope nothing like this happens again.
No need to meet a dead man, the RCC and Pope John Paul II sheltered this person, as the world watched

Yes you falsely claim this Pope is in succession to the one true church on earth, a (False Claim)

I have no further response on the RCC

Actions speak louder than words, in the inquisition and torture of humans, the evil Medici dynasty, protection of child abuse, and the list is endless

We haven't even accounted for the false teachings, the RCC is a false religion using the Holy name of Jesus Christ

You can have the Pope and The RCC, I'll take Jesus And Salvation through the finished work on Calvary, Faith, and Faith Alone!

No Further Response Needed From Me, The Horse Is Dead

No, that’s Protestantism. The reason why reformers like Calvin and Luther had to develop their particular Protestant doctrine (the Solas, Tulip, etc.) was because they didn’t exist before they made it up. There were no churches before then that taught that stuff.
Because until then massive abuse of scripture hadn't been so bloody rampant. Just as the Athanasius creed came on the heals of heresy, all the creeds came because heresy and abuse. So Luther coming with Sola scripture was following the natural form that the church had taken since the council described in acts. The big difference was that never before had the authorities and leaders of the church been the abusers, nor had the authority of the church been structured in such away that a deviant could so abuse the parishioners. "When a coin in the coffer rings, a soul from purgatory springs". Ought to cause every Catholic to agree with Luther and the Catholic church to reform.

The big problem with this ^ is Luther claimed he arrived at his conclusions through his own study of the scriptures. There was nothing historical about the conclusions he came to. They were the opinions of a fallible 16th century man. I have tried to find a time in history before Luther where the early church taught beliefs in Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide...I simply can’t find it. It’s why there are so many Catholics.

I’m not sure what you mean by that but ok. What was wrong about what I said?
"It happens all the time in Protestant Churches as well.

Protestants murdered many people during the reformation, Calvin burned people. People do very sinful things."

the abuse in the RCC is no less sin than those who call themselves Protestant doing the same thing. Look in the mirror.

The Roman Catholic False Doctrine Of Purgatory, $Paying For Salvation$

Wikipedia: Purgatory

The purgatory of Catholic doctrine
At the Second Council of Lyon in 1274, the Catholic Church defined, for the first time, its teaching on purgatory, in two points:
  1. some souls are purified after death;
  2. such souls benefit from the prayers and pious duties that the living do for them.
The council declared:
f they die truly repentant in charity before they have made satisfaction by worthy fruits of penance for (sins) committed and omitted, their souls are cleansed after death by purgatorical or purifying punishments, as Brother John has explained to us. And to relieve punishments of this kind, the offerings of the living faithful are of advantage to these, namely, the sacrifices of Masses, prayers, alms, and other duties of piety, which have customarily been performed by the faithful for the other faithful according to the regulations of the Church.[31]

Justification Solely by Faith...Paul's original doctrine of the new testament. Check out Augustine.

The real father of Catholicism and all episcopalian denominations was Ignatias

He taught that the bishop must be received and obeyed as though he was the very person of Jesus Christ ... Paul would have fled in horror of such a doctrine.

From this came the rise of clergy and the monarchical structure of the church which became the Catholic church. Ignatias was the first to use the term catholic.

I agree with you, I was just pointing out to that guy that keeps calling my church evil that it’s shortsighted and stupid to believe Protestantism doesn’t have people that did evil in the name of Protestantism.

Only Protestants can look at a first century bishop of an ancient church and think that person is wrong and they are right. The reason he was Catholic and believed Catholic things is because the Catholic Church is the early Christian Church. I guess you’ll say next that Clement in the 70s AD (Bishop of Rome) was a traitor to Christianity too.

Usurpers they usurped the true Head of the church who is Christ. Peter warned the wolves would come after he was gone. Peter warned they would come, Jude warned they were already in the church, crept in unawares ... all in the 1st century.

... same time as they started worshipping the bread and miracles ceased.

Your obfuscating.
The fact is that even a basic read of the bible supports the idea of Sola scripture. From the numerous times the Israel was punished for breaking the commands, to the numerous times the scriptures were found and read and the people returned to the law; like Ezra, and Gideon. And the Brothers that were consumed by the fire for putting the wrong incense on the alter to theam who died because he touched the arc because they were transporting it wrong. And from Jesus telling the Pharisees that they transgres the law by their tradition, numerous times, to Peter in his letter saying that the people who don't obey the writings of Paul also do not obey the scriptures. To the Bereans who were "more honorable" because they searched the scripture to see if the apostles were telling the truth. To the admonishment if anyone even am angel or even the apostle himself were to bring another gospel not to listen to it, but count that messenger as anathema, or damned.
You can't find it because you are blind, willfully and desiring to be so. The papacy brought another gospel when they brought the buying of endulgences, and made himself out to be infallible, and set himself between the people and Christ. Then by his traditions violated the laws of God, andade himself a false teacher and prophet.

Yes I am very sure that also you can not find the council of nicaea in your history either which said, these writing these words are the words of God. Which means to contradict those words are to contradict God. To contradict God is damnable.

The Catholic Bishop of Hippo never believed in Sola Fide. You can’t believe certain things and also believe Sola Fide, there are incompible beliefs.

He believed baptism regenerated the believer and you needed penance (referring to confession) after you fall into sin to be saved

“In three ways are sins remitted in the Church; by baptism, by prayer, by the greater humility of penance; yet God does not remit sins except to the baptized. The very sins that he remits first, he remits only to the baptized [Sermon to Catechumens on the Creed 16 (c. A.D. 395)].”

He believed there was no salvation outside the Church:
“We believe also in the holy Church, assuredly the Catholic. For both heretics and schismatics style their congregations churches. But heretics, in holding false opinions regarding God, do injury to the faith itself; while schismatics, on the other hand, in wicked separations break off from brotherly charity, although they may believe just what we believe. As a result neither do the heretics belong to the Catholic Church, which loves God; nor do the schismatics form a part of the same, inasmuch as it loves the neighbor, and consequently readily forgives the neighbor’s sins, because it prays that forgiveness may be extended to itself by him who has reconciled us to himself, doing away with all past things, and calling us to a new life And until we reach the perfection of this new life, we cannot be without sins. Nevertheless it is a matter of consequence of what sort those sins may be [Faith and the Creed 10:21 (A.D. 393)].”

“Just as baptism is of no profit to the man who renounces the world in words and not in deeds, so it is of no profit to him who is baptized in heresy or schism; but each of them, when he amends his ways, begins to profit from what was not profitable before, but was already in him [On Baptism, Against the Donatists 4:4:6 (A.D. 400)].”

Luther invented Sola scriptura. He needed to because once he cut himself off from the church and tradition, all that was left was the scriptures. You can’t even discern the canon from Sola Scriptura. It’s extremely flawed and un historical .

Councils are biblical just like in Acts. It sounds like you don’t want to be Catholic, so don’t.
