My history text books in high school were riddled with obvious factual mistakes. Basically, aside from a few dates, it seemed to be made up. Based on my college text books in business it was obvious that the business text books in high school were written by those not even remotely qualified in business concepts and actual practices. Regarding your inquiry I don't believe that you are morally obligated to try to get the text book straighten out. Total waste of time. Go with the flow, don't seriously challenge the teacher and get an A. I didn't get too many A's in high school but plenty of A's in college. I guess, despite the circumstances, I learned a few things.
Turns out I was just wrong haha, book was right :)

on that one instance at least, there might’ve been one thing elsewhere that might’ve been a mistake but I probably doubt it
I‘m not sure where it is though haha, so I’m like 99% sure it’s not worth it to try reading through certain chapters of the book to try to find it.

But then again it was probably just the same thing as the thing that was right

Judas didn't want to help the poor. he was stealing from the money box.
he was lying, and almost turned all the apostles against Jesus in that incident.

Christ was being honored - and Judas was saying, don't honor Him.
I really should not be commenting on this conversation because my doing so could be dishonoring to God.
But I guess I will put in my 2 cents.
Jesus was directly addressing the plight of the poor in this world and telling us that we should not be upset or overly concerned about the problem because it will exist through to the end of time.
2000 years later and we still have this growing and unsolvable problem of the poor. Jesus knew that there would be an obsession for people to turn their attention to this worldly matter when there were more serious problems to consider.

The salvation of one's soul will trump over making the poor rich any day.
Peter's first miracle was one where he said Silver and gold, I do not have but what I have I will give to you.
The man's faith in Jesus Christ healed the man. Again that is what the bible is all about.

Judas being a thief is secondary. It is almost sure that almost all of us are thieves before we came to Jesus. We take home pens or stationery from our offices or things even if it costs a penny. It is still stealing.

Even after Jesus was crucified, none of the disciples knew that Judas had betrayed Jesus Christ. And most likely they did not know that He was a thief either.
The purpose of Jesus was not to supernaturally reveal negative things about people that was basically characteristic of most people. Even although He knew these things, He did not teach his disciples to be judgmental about people.

The bible isn't a story book for our enjoyment. It is a spiritual book to teach us about God and His ways and also His ways for us.

that's how we know this is about more than Judas desiring money or pretending to have concern for the poor.
this is the only man in all of history that Satan entered. Judas is the Antichrist. Jesus is God, and He knows exactly what Judas is doing, and why. their conversation here is on a much deeper level than money and anointing oil and beggars.

Jesus doesn't need money. why give the poor money? what are they going to do with it? buy food. Jesus can make bread from stones. Jesus can multiply oil and fishes. Jesus can get money from the mouth of any fish in the sea.

there's a much deeper narrative playing out here, friend.

but i just wanted to point out that Judas was not being sincere with his comment about selling the oil and giving the money to the poor. he's attacking God's character; he's giving the deceptive lie of Satan, corrupting everyone who will hear him. it's subtle, and it's incredibly wicked.

you tube isnt academic, I wouldnt even bother.
If you want academic, you would use academic resources like Gale or Epic databases and resources from them.

You would look at books published by leading Universities, or reputable educational publishers that have references.

Btw, what do u think I should do if my mother doesn’t want me to talk to strangers? Should I still attempt contacting this teacher?
(There are times when I need advice and don’t want to pester mature Christians I know or ask Christians I’m sorta friends with, but might give me advice that makes me doubt if it’s right or not).
You're an adult why do you need to worry about what your mother wants you to do?

I am not sure that you are aware that none of the disciples even after Jesus was crucified and arose from the dead knew that Judas was the betrayer.

Why?

God did not reveal anything to his disciples that they themselves could not have found out by themselves. If He did so, then He would have been altering history from what would have been normal. Maybe the disciples would have hated Judas and changed the course of history, maybe by killing him.

Even Peter in John 21 asked Jesus who had betrayed him. Jesus did not tell him. Peter even inquired about what was John the beloved disciple's role and Jesus essentially told him to mind his own business.

Therefore Jesus did not expect his disciples to know about the role of Judas and kept it a secret until the disciples would come into that information at the approved time.

But uh, if u don’t mind me asking,
In general, what should I do about things I find to be incorrect on the Internet? Regarding like math and science.
I know this is probably very vague and general, but what do you think?
