Milk only, as in how many continue to understand salvation?

if i could hijack the thread, i'd rather be trying to figure Genesis 14 out than having the whole once-saved-maybe-not-saved-for-long conversation again. :p but it needs to be settled that we have absolute faith in God and what He has done to save us before we can see the truth of that played out in the law.

Sodom is like the wicked world, and the king of her a type of Satan/Antichrist. he tries to corrupt Abraham ((a type of who?)) after Abraham saves them all for the sake of his kinsman. he wants to make Abraham rich with Sodomite wealth - but Abraham's only concern is for the people - not the material. God gives Abraham this victory - just a few servants against so many kings of the world! and then God shows up in the figure of the King-Priest of Salem, which means peace, which is Jah-ru-shalom, Yah provides peace. He brings bread and wine, body and blood. they all eat together - like the last supper, antichrist & Christ and Abraham at the table.

what else is here? what is it telling us about salvation? this isn't even scratching the surface; what did the author of Hebrews want to say about it? many things! hard to explain! it's rich and full of calories and protein :)
we only need teeth, and to learn to chew :D

I find this same resistance to the full understanding of the Word with the OSAS group, who want only to understand Salvation in its most basic form, while rejecting the meat of salvation. Rather than making this another discussion on Salvation, I hope we can just acknowledge that there are other verses in the Word about salvation being more than its basic concept. Those who will not acknowledge this most obvious fact, will then in effect just continue to intake milk only.

On yah, that’s for sure....like the children of the continuist cornfield chasing emotionalism’s wonders in fireworks, i hear you. It is a lack of depth of character they seem to seek after.

Yes! In other words, they like the easy stuff. Same here on this forum where many just choose the easy and reject what is hard.
And according to what is being inferred in Isaiah 28:10 & 13; it is only those who are already beyond the basics who the Lord deems worthy to instruct with knowledge and the understanding of doctrine.
