Ok lets talk about pain.
my heart has been broken also.
unbearable pain.

Is there relief?

the only one I know of is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the oil that soothes the Pain.

the word of God settles us down.

The person of Jesus is the friend we must have. The hero we need, the companion we can lean on like John did.

Are you born again friend?
just curious.

Hey, JAR61.

I took a peek at your profile and saw that you're presently separated.

If that's what you're broken-hearted about, then I just want to let you know that I've been through the same myself, and I might, by the grace of God, be able to give you some answers.

Whatever the case may be, I pray that God meets your every need.

Hi Jeff and Welcome to Christian Chat 🙂!

I'm not sure what questions it is you seek answers to, but may God Grant you the answer to them. May you find many good, Christian people that God will Bless you with these and more answers to them.
May you find Peace in our Heavenly Father and in his Love.

It hurts so bad. I tried to fix my marriage until I broke it. THEN my wife stomped on the pieces treated me w such cruelty and left. Our marriage can be fixed but she won't get help w me. There was no adultery just a deep lack of intimacy and terrible communication. I have dumped a lot of women in my day......but I adore my wife. I thought we shared the same faith......and God says 1 wife 2 life

I didn't think a man could be so wounded as I am. I have cried everyday for the last mo. This has truly shaken me to the core

My wife of 18 years separated from me after cheating on me repeatedly, and then she divorced me.

Throughout my entire ordeal, God kept showing me how the grief I was feeling was just a tiny reflection of the grief he feels when people reject him and depart from him, so he understands what you're going through.

Scripture says that Jesus is touched with the feelings of our infirmities or weaknesses because he endured the same.

He is our merciful and faithful high priest, and we can come boldly to his throne of grace to obtain mercy and to find grace to help us in our time of need.

I wish that there was a "quick fix", but your best bet right now is to just pour your heart out to God.

His grace truly is sufficient.

This I know, firsthand.

I'll be praying for you and your wife.

If your marriage needed fixing it was already broken. I only say that because it seems you are taking 100% of the blame/responsibility and yet two people were involved. Surely at least 50% of the fault is hers? If she really stomped all over your heart and treated you cruelly then it would seem she has no desire to be fixed up with you. I may use words like fault and blame though I am not looking to fault or blame anyone, and know there is great value in taking personal responsibility, but even in that, one must not assume anything/everything that went wrong was all on one person.

Hello and Welcome to CC...
My marriage ended eight years ago. Some time after that, I discovered the daily devotional from DivorceCare.org. It offers hope, encouragement, and relevant advice, and is based on Scripture. I highly recommend it.

I also spent quite a bit of time with an experienced Christian counselor, and also recommend it... for you, not for your marriage. Heavy emphasis on the Christian part. ;)

May the Lord bless you, heal you, and give you His peace.

I am truly sorry to hear about your pain. I think live for him summed it up perfectly. I wish I had more that I could add, but nothing comes to mind other than if you have friends you trust that are Christian's to seek them out. But truly, God and Our Lord are the best friends we could ever have.
My prayers are with you, truly.

"I have learned, we can and will survive such issues, and it takes time...believe it.
And, there is reality in, the answer to all things lies within, a profound inspiration put
forth by Divine words. Every situation requires different actions.
I did not have Christ in my life many years ago when my marriage broke up, but I survived.
Having God as part of your life, hopefully you find the Holy Spirit to be your strength.
The answers will be known, expect the unexpected." :)

Welcome my dear one,

I too was recently crushed under the foot of someone I cared for, i have also suffered great loss and experienced unfathomable grief. I can tell you
Prayer helps tremendously. Find a prayer line, a friend, a believer to hold hands and pray with you! Or agree with you over the phone- pleaee know this is the very best way to heal.

The word says where ever "TWO or more are gathered," He Will be there!

Feel frer to reach out to me IM and or email and I will be happy to pray with you

I came across a reeeally old bible at a garage sale a few years back. A poem was pencilled in the front;
‘Only those who have sorrowed
Know how tender is
The Man of sorrows’

It comforted my heart and I hope it does yours too. Life is painful, often, with much suffering. But He is with us through our suffering. He truly is with you in this very moment, catching every tear.

So much of this was self inflicted.Ive lead a life of hypocrisy. I've done what I'm now experiencing. I'm getting a dose of my own nedicine....I can't believe I've inflicted so much geartache....its too much for me to bare.
