Why do we call the Father, the Creator ..when the Son should have that title also?

Proverbs 8:26
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Wait a second, were the "fields" mentioned, quantum fields? This is amazing if so.

I think the bible uses dust to talk about atoms. Atoms to form Adam.
So Adam was now created as a physical being? Have you changed your view, then?

Because before you were saying Adam and Eve did not become physical until after they sinned.

Even though you also said sin was not possible in the spiritual :rolleyes:

"The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him."

John 1:1-4 (NASB)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind.

John 1:1-4 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

So the Word is Jesus:
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

I know Christ and the Father are the same person, but I don't get why we are told the Father gets the title of Creator.

Who is the follow about? Is it some kind of weird poem for the Church or humanity? I'm confused on how it could be anyone but Christ.

Proverbs 8
22 The Lord possessed (created) me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
IMO,It’s showing respect even though they are equal In Heaven. The WORD of GOD became flesh.

On earth JESUS became the son of GOD AND a humen being so thats why GOD said this Is my beloved SON.

because they are one and the same together with the spirit.

Jesus is the father manifest in the form of a man so he is called the son of God form our Benifit that are adopted through him as children . We pray in his name because we are the children , it’s important to understand Jesus is God manifest in our sight , the father his son and the Holy Ghost in one.

we have the theee different elements form our benifit

the son is God revealing himself to man because the father is not seen or known , until he came in the form of Jesus Christ , the Holy Ghost aspect is how the one God is present with us .

each of the aspects of God that are
Made known to us have thiernown purpose in the plan it’s why we understand him as three in one he is so far beyond us he had to break it down so Christ came to do just that bridge the massive gap between fallible and imperfect man , and infallible perfect and glorious beyond the heavens True God

if he hadn’t come in Christ we could. Ever have know the father , and if he hadn’t sent the Holy Ghost to dwell in our hearts we could never be born again as his children or have his presence with us personally as we now can

he is one In the same but in order for us to get it he jumped into the mess we created and became one of us to teach us the truth

The writing style seems to indicate shape to planet earth, ie, hillls, valleys, and fields for the olive and grape orchards, etc.

You only needed to read a couple more posts in this thread before you started your rant.
First of all I am not "ranting." I'm explaining to your "clueless" mind what the Scriptures are teaching. Secondly, I'm responding specifically to what you initially stated in your thread. As I pointed out and so did others that God the Father and God the Son are "NOT" one and the same person. As explained, they share the same nature and that's what makes them the one being of God.

Instead checking this out (like your suppose to do) according to Acts 17:11, you just ignored it and tell me I'm "ranting." Then you tell me to read what you stated in other post which is what exactly? So, I ask you again, how would improve on what the Bible clearly teaches as it relates to Jesus being the creator with His Father? And btw, others, like lurkers for example read these post and want to learn. From what you said your still drinking baby formula and need to grow up.

That is so horrible and insensitive. Please don't ever write to anyone in such a fashion again.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

grapes taste better when we don’t have to fight through the thorns

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

This forum doesn't let us edit the first post, half the information gets lost on new people joining the thread. The following blew my mind this morning and changed everything:

Because jesus does nothing of his own but only what the father says.
All things come from the father.
That is the order of heaven. God the father crafted, measured, colored, designed, all that is. Jesus spoke theses things in existence as the father led.
Much like the architects of today which draft blue prints of buildings and such it is out of the mind and imagination of the person that drafted and designed. Then you have the tradesmen who put it together.
"And by him all things are held together"

Well I appreaciate your change in attitude, it's refreshing. It's pretty rare that people will change their position, especially reagarding the Bible. What holds them back is "pride." So again, thank you!

I would also like to add on what pottersclay stated here: "
Much like the architects of today which draft blue prints of buildings and such it is out of the mind and imagination of the person that drafted and designed. Then you have the tradesmen who put it together.
"And by him all things are held together"

We read at Revelation 3:14, "The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning OF the creation OF God, says this." The Jw's, Unitarians, Christadelphians and others who deny the deity of Jesus Christ love to use this verse to show God the Father created Jesus Christ. They also like to use Proverbs 8:22.

When you look up that word "Beginning" in the Greek it is the word, "arche." We get our English word "architect" from that word. And like pottersclay stated, an architect is the "origin, draws up the plans and designs " what will be built etc. This is (as I stated) backed up by John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:10 by His Father and here at Revelation 3:14. In short, Jesus and the Farther are equally one and the same being of God. Does that make sense?

Absolutely. Few agree on the Word of God 100%, and since this is obviously the case, we need to share what we know, but also not be so arrogant enough to believe that we don't need to keep our ears open to the ideas of others.

Yes, it makes sense. I took it a step further after pottersclay wrote that. The reason we can't see God the Father is because He is in a higher dimension than what we can perceive. Christ is His representation for these lower dimensions. The plan and design are handed to Christ and He makes them happen with the Word.

amen it reminds Me of this instruction by the beloved by many , apostle Paul for edification amongst us

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:15-17‬ ‭

I really am seeing edification and am thankful for it I think the secret is like your saying to just express the thkngs in our faith right or wrong and in the discussion process of we’re paying attention to what others are saying as well as what we have said I believe edification is much easier to accept and see

and brings to form our beliefs together as we let go of pride and thinking we can make it alone or don’t need the hands and feet of the body because we see ourselves a mouth a mouth can’t move or walk but legs can , legs can’t speak but a mouth can we need one another because love for one another and unity through the bond of peace is the engine that drives the church

Look God is not bound by our observation and reason, or as we, so call science. We have to learn that God is beyond our finite mind. We need to learn to accept that what is paradox to us is not beyond the ability of God.
I kind of like that old blaphemous rhetorical question, "can God make a rock too big for him to move?" Because the answer is, " yes, and then he can move it when he so chooses. "
