What I see here apart from the babes in Christ is that this quote buttresses the fact that Man is not intrinsically flesh (carnal) but his behavioural pattern could give rise to flesh and make him so.
When we understand this clearly, our outlook and attitude towards sin would change and we will be able to be the spiritual beings (without sin) our Father created us to be. As St Paul enjoins us in Hebrews 6:1 -3, we will be able to move beyond the principles of the doctrine of Christ and move unto perfection and fulfil the mandate of our Father as He enjoins us to be Holy and Perfect as He is.
To be Perfect as used here means:
1. to be holy and without blame in love Ephesians 1:4
2. to be filled with the fullness of God Ephesians 3:19
3. to reach unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ Ephesians 4:13
4. reaching that state of spirituality where there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither bond nor free, neither male nor female for we are all one in Christ Jesus Galatia 3: 23
5. complete in God. Since we derive our completeness in God, we reach that state where we receive his fullness.
6, etc

1 Cor. 14
26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
