Here we have a Greek word G1367 dischilioi. "Dis" means two or twice and chilioi (G5507) means a thousand so this word means two thousand. Naturally then if there was one chilioi (G5507) it would be exactly a thousand just as it is in every occurrence of the word in the NT.


This is indisputable evidence that the thousand years is exactly a thousand years.

G5507 always means exactly one thousand like it does here. To mean more it needs to have more added to it. Here we have G5507 as exactly one thousand and then 260 added to that one thousand. Guess what? If we removed the 260 we have how many? Exactly one thousand, G5507.

So when we have G5507 alone, it is exactly one thousand. And when scripture speaks of "thousands" in the plural it uses chilias G5505 not G5507.

If Revelation 20's thousand years was thousands of years like Amillennialism claims, the word needed would be chilias G5505 especially the double appearance of the word as found in Revelation 5:11, "thousands of thousands" which is truly an unknown amount. G5507 strictly means only one thousand and no more. It cannot mean 1001, nor an unknown number of thousands or millions etc.

I'll use an example to further explain the difference of the two words.

G5505 is like a thousand dollar bill. There is just one in your hand but it's worth a thousand dollars and the word is written in the singular because of this.

G5507 is like having one thousand dollar bills. That's worth the same exact amount, but it's a plural word because there is a thousand singles of something rather than one thing that equals a thousand. Imagine in your left hand a thousand dollar bill, and in your right hand a thousand one dollar bills. Same amount but the way each amount is represented is different.

5507 is plural in this sense, not that it means more than a thousand or multiples of thousands like 2000. That is not what the plural aspect means but that is how Amillennialism wrongly misdefines it.

If there is 'No Time' in the 'spiritual' realm, then - "by definition" - any association with time whatsoever in a passage of scripture places its context into the 'physical' realm.

I agree with the first statement (not on this Earth) but the next two is very not proven in scripture.
The saved will be with Jesus for 1000 years in His kingdom where His throne is located. why do you say it is a spiritual realm? that is new age spiritualism. If we are just spirits why did Jesus go to prepare homes for us?

It doesn't take much to see from the bible texts that the first resurrection is for the saved and the 1000 years start. The second resurrection is for the unsaved and happens at the end of the 1000 years. Rev 20:4,5,6

“The rest of the dead [those who were not saved] did not live again until the thousand years were finished” (Revelation 20:5).
“All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation” (John 5:28, 29).

There are only 2 resurrections, the saved and the unsaved. So all the saved will be with Jesus for 1000 years.

Martin Luther was what we call a-millinial. That the thousand year reign of Christ is what we know as the church age, and the thousand years is an idiom, which simply means a very long time.

“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him” (Revelation 1:7).
“The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout. ... And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17).

Nothing is said about an earthly kingdom here....

It will be impossible for any person to repent during the 1,000 years because there will not be a person alive on the earth. The righteous will all be in heaven. The 1000 years is a very long time. and i don't mind if it goes for a million years as long as i'm with Jesus. the time isn't really the issue the confusion is where it will be spent. No one can prove that it will be on the earth. put all Bible verses together and it must be in Heaven in the new Jerusalem with Jesus.

When Jesus comes the saved will be taken to Heaven .....The First resurrection happens when He comes..... the 1000 years starts after the first resurrection...... the 1000 years is in Heaven (logical)

In the Greek language, the word used for a "thousand" means exactly a thousand not a any longer. The thousand years in Revelation 20 is not the church age and is not longer than a thousand years.

From what I've studied any time a specific measurement of days/years is mentioned in prophecy it meant specifically that measurement.
The whole point of prophecy is to prove that The Almighty is sovereign over human history (by telling us exactly what's supposed to happen and when). So there's no reason to give any specific timeframe if it's not meant to be adhered to.

Once probation closes it is all over the saved are save and the lost are lost. As long as i'm with Jesus is all that really counts. The Earth needs to be cleansed in order to be made new.
