Wow, that's a long time Shandy. So you really 'get' us Aussies. One of the things I like most about Australia and the diversity of landscapes. It's truly wonderful. Late last year I drove from Darwin to Victoria and was once again taken back by the vastness, character and features of the land.
I agree. You are blessed with amazing landscapes. I love the diversity of the wildlife too. Who could not fall in love with a koala, or a kuckaburra? Bet I spelt that wrong.
Nice to meet you and Australia sure sounds like a wonderful place! I think I will take an online tour So glad to have you joining in the fellowship here and God bless you this new year!

Hi Shandy. You made me laugh ... no, not like a kookaburra I think I like your spelling much more. Yeap, I love the animals too, although between you and I, I confess that I like a salty (salt water crocodile) to be a l o n g distance from me.

Thank you so much Tabin. Blessings to you too. Yes, please have a look at Aussie online, it really is a wonderful place to be. But I find that most places have something very special about them.
Oh how wonderful it was to hear that tune again. Thank you for attaching it. Sooo many memories, but I am sure as primary school kids we didnt sing in tune or together very well. This version seems tame and subdued compared to how we sang it, and we would only sing the first chorus, because it always seemed strange that the song referred to monkeys which we dont have here.

Your most welcome. And yes, that is odd they would toss in monkeys if none are to be found. I only remembered the first line, and appearently according to this not even that one fully lol. Thanks for meaning them, allowed me to look it up and even pull up the picture of the blue kuckaburra. Brought up a happy memory, the song did.
