For any of you who believe you have to work to "keep" your salvation, don't you know that to God Almighty our works are as filthy rags. You can work from now til kingdom come and you will NOT be able to save yourself nor keep something which God Himself has already give to you. SMH

I love everything about this site, and Thread, EXCEPT THE 5 minute Editing RULE. You have to hate that RULE.
I recently started to post on another Site also, that allows UNLIMITED EDITING. What a refreshing idea. I went back to the first Post that I made on their Site, 2 months and changed a word, and it still accepted it. In all fairness, that site can get a little bit Glitchy, and frequently times out do to insufficient Memory. So I am not trying to leave, but to have more options.

The "heart" is the seat of man in scripture.
It includes, the mental processes, emotions and the will, all these are engaged when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
I have always wondered what is the "human spirit " until is is reconnected to God, it is dead, "separated" but still there I am thinking?

You just described the faith of demon, so now you are talking UNSAVED MAN who only think they are SAVED. SAVED MEN know that according to SCRIPTURE, that is WHERE THE HUMAN SPIRIT RESIDES.

And I was speaking about genuinely being Born Again. A lot of people think that intellectually agreeing that JESUS is Son of GOD, but that is what the DEAMONS BELIEVE and their Faith is not of the Heart. I used to believe like that, and the NIGHT I lovingly surrendered to JESUS CHRIST, I realized I was standing in the GATES of Hades/Hell, all three times I attempted Suicide.

I was even a Acolyte (Altar Boy) for the Lutheran Church. I thought I was Saved because I thought saved meant because of my infant Baptism, admitted the Stories about Jesus were True, and took up space on a pew, most of the time. None of that has anything to do with Genuine SALVATION. The difference between before I was Born Again, and after words was Night and Day. I genuinely, Lovingly surrendered totally TO HIM, and KNEW I WOULD NEVER TAKE IT BACK. The Holy Spirit CAME INTO MY HEART, He immersed my Human Spirit into the Spiritual Body of Christ, HE gave me a Hunger and Thirst for HIS WORD, I found it exciting to listen to a PREACHER for an hour, I got all excited hearing about the Rapture, I was at PEACE with GOD in my HEART, etc. etc. I sat in a Church Pew most of my life, bored to the Max, but until I was Born Again about 7 weeks before I turned 29. I had never been excited to be there in Church, until I was REALLY BORN AGAIN, and HE, the Holy Spirit, Gave me a GIFT, and it was TOTAL TRUST IN JESUS WITH MY LIFE.
Oh, I am SURE you understand that. Cuts and bruises Heal slower, everything takes LONGER, including brushing your teeth. I have to make a list to go get GROCERIES, even if it is only 3 things. Because by the time I drive to the store, I will have forgotten TWO items. Remembering Names gets more difficult as each year passes. I used to make CANES for Fun and Sell them, NOW I ARE THE ONE THAT NEEDS THEM. Etc., etc.

Oh YES, I have vivid Memories was watching my Dad and Uncle put indoor Plumbing in the House. I have vivid memories of what it feels like to sit on the ice cold boards of an Outhouse, in the winter. I remember putting my Shoes while wearing them on a red hot Pot Belly Stove, after coming in from outside, felt GOOD, and Mom yelling at me from the Kitchen to get my feet off that stove. I remember sticking my tongue on a frosty metal gate post, ONLY ONE TIME. Milking Cows by hand, squirting barn cats in the face. One Room School Houses, where Teacher REALLY used a switch, when we were bad, but took us to the woodshed to spank us. First TV, and we got our chores DONE IN RECORD TIME.

People have difficulty believing that JESUS can forgive, and work out everyone who was predestined to BE SAVED, and Make sure all them are SAVED, and STAY SAVED, without a help from us. If you are one of those doubters, YOU NEED TO STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION.

You know there are several things about Works Righteousness, that I will never understand. How they justify we have to do something to be SAVED. It makes no sense with verses like this:
