You believe that you read a verse that rings strongly within you BUT, when you go to search for that verse again, you cannot find it.
I have not read the entire Bible (NIV is the version I read)
I do like to cross reference the KJV
I topic search for whatever topic surrounds my thinking each day.
If it has, there is two possible explanations:
#1 I read it online from one of the countless versions available....Even The Bible app keeps giving me the daily verse in ASV sometimes.
#2 A verse I did read has a personal meaning that makes it speak in a way that cannot be explained.
There is a good quote that states:
It’s not what you look at that matters, It’s what you see. (Henry David Thoreau)
Another good analogy that puts this into perspective is,
For people who are married to the love of their life, they see the most beautiful person in the world but they would be lost for words trying to explain why they think their husband or wife is more attractive than Hollywood’s best of the bunch.
