No, silly! lol! :giggle: John wore clothes made from camel's hair. ;)(y)

Matthew 3:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

at the Passover it would have been unleavened as it represented the haste with which the Exodus was made.

at the Passover it would have been unleavened as it represented the haste with which the Exodus was made.
But in Mat 26 it is not Passover, it was before Passover

the Passover is when Yahshua/Jesus was Sacrificed

John 13:1-2,Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, ."

This is the "supper" spoken of:

Matthew 26:26-29, “And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body. And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign of My Father.”

In Matthew 26:26-29 what kind of bread is used; leavened or unleavened?

Interesting, it was Passover week, when all leaven was destroyed, so unleavened bread would have been the only that was available.
https://www.seekthecontext.com/last-supper-unleavened-bread-or-leavened/
The feast of Unleavened bread starts the day after the Passover, the supper was even the day before that, so at that time there would have been no need for the leaven to be destroyed. There was a full 2 days before the feast of Unleavened bread started.

Also consider the Greek language, artone is leavened bread and azumos is unleavened bread

The artice you posted claims this "So here is my answer… Jesus did brake ἄρτος (artos) “bread” in the gospel story, but it was during the week of Unleavened Bread (Mat 16:17). The story does not have to specify that this was “unleavened bread” because that was the only kind of bread that would have been available that week. "

Leviticus 23:4-5 shows this is simply not true.

Well Lafftur, -even in your wonderful attempt to bring joy and encouragement to CC the spirit of argument and dissension has come in.
I know those who still cleanse the whole house of leaven for the whole week.
best wishes

wow really? you are being negative, I would rather say lets enjoy the word, trivia format does not require every reply to be correct, if an answer is incorrect how is it "the spirit of argument and dissension " to say so? it seems you are trying to criticize me.

Ill say this, none of us are perfect nor do we know everything but praise be to Yah that we can dwell on Him.

Psalms 95:1-3, “Come, let us sing to יהוה! Let us raise a shout to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His face with thanksgiving; Let us raise a shout to Him in song. For יהוה is a great Strength, and a great Sovereign above all mighty ones.”

Thanks be to Yah that His hand is offered to all of us!

Neither leavened or unleavened.....it was The Bread of Life they were eating because Jesus said, "This is My Body."(y)

Matthew 26:26-29 New King James Version (NKJV)
Jesus Institutes the Lord’s Supper
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, [a]blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the [b]new covenant, which is shed for many for the [c]remission of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
