Where did you get the understanding that Once Save Always Saved = do anything they want to do?

I said it sounds like they can do as they please...that has been my observation....it’s not biblical either...

I believe in eternal life....osas words are wrong to me because they aren’t biblical....I cant go against God’s word.

So I don’t mind what others think...I am not a people pleaser I am a God pleaser.

I don’t have God’s permission to use the terminology...Once Saved Always Saved,x
But when you say it is not biblical you as much as claim as my faith is in error

And you also offending prety much everyone who believes in eternal security

I only know of one person you will not offend

Just saying

Osas....doesn’t sound good to me.....it’s sounds like you can do what ever you please...you can’t..just my opinion........you shall know them by their fruit.......

Eternal life ,yes....it’s biblical.....
Ok.

What makes you think OSAS is a license to sin?
As a person who believed in NOSAS and came over to OSAS my walk with Jesus has been better (still have struggles)

Now as a believer in NOSAS then I obviously believed that I could lose my salvation based on what I did or did not do. This type of believe sets bars that cannot be kept.

So I tried my best not to sin, I did not want to sin but feared the 3 strikes and your out.

So when I came to the OSAS always camp my position concerning sin did not change.
I did not come to believe in OSAS as an excuse to sin but I did my homework.

My position in Jesus and my security in him changed.

As a result my struggle with sin based on my own efforts was replaced with the grace of God and the Holy Spirit working in me to overcome sin.

So where did you get or the feeling that it sounds like you can do all you want and still be saved.

Such a view is an abomination and Paul addressed this in Romans 5-7

So OSAS is biblical but unfortunately it's interpretation may not be in false teachers hands.

Personally I would go with ES based on Bible knowledge to counteract those who accuse of using OSAS as a license to sin even when you tell them that you do not believe that but still bang on about it.

Oh my. Command, choice. Well if my mother gave me a command to eat green peas and I did not, let me tell you, I had a choice and consequences if I did not obey and pleasant consequence if I did obey.

How complex we humans make out the Word of God.

I said I don’t use the terminology Once Saved Always Saved.....I have agreed with you guys about it way back in previous posts.

But have been brought to realise I am in error...Once Saved Always Saved is not permitted for me to say to others that i am that.

I have eternal life....

Sorry I disagree.there is also a lot more of scripture of how God chooses his people.
God chose me and drew me to him...that is my belief...no question of doubt.
Thanks, that will be no problem to me, by disagreeing means only to point one thing, you are displaying your CHOICE.

It can be kept.

Jesus and Peter say so:

Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48; 2 Corinthians 13:11).

Be holy; for I am holy (1 Peter 1:15-16).

Yes I am....I understand my own choice now..you have brought it to the forefront for me....when you have been denied choice for many yrs of your life...you can slip back into thinking that you don’t have that choice again...because it has been so ingrained into you.
Not knowing what choice was.
Thank you for showing me that.....I do have a choice!!....

Very true.

There seems to be a concept if we are told not to do then we will not.

That was my experience with my gambling problem when I sought help from my church.

Bible says don't do.

Yeh ok if could just stop then I could have done.

Always a cause of the effect. Deal with cause then the effect will be dealt with.

The person who told you that is wrong. And We know who he is.

But if you wish believe that. That you to will think my belief is in error No matter how many times you claim you do not

I beliebe the fact

A person who by gods call power who is saved. By living faith (not dead faith) and ONCE that person is saved, he will ALWAYS be SAVED

Maybe show us a scripture that says otherwise.

If you can then I will rest my case.

But before you do let's look at

You believe you are eternally secure?
Yes or no?

If so why so?

Do you believe your OSAS why so?

To me they are the same but to you not.

Why?
