I don't know about all that but from personal experience I can tell you that the town which I grew up (pop. 150,000) employed 30,000 worker's. (My Grandfather worked there all his life) But , because of union's (mob) and other influences they got good pay. so much so that China was able to come here ship steel back to China, and sell it back to us cheaper. The steel mill that provided one fourth of cities jobs, closed down in 1985.I don't know what happened to the rest of the country but this was our experience.
Same thing happened here with some of our raw natural resources being shipped overseas for processing, leaving many out of work :(

The northwest coast is known for its lumber (among other resources), and now for its closed saw mills up and down and all around.

I just had to have fun with this lol Steel is strong ,flesh is stronger! For what is steel in comparison to the person who wheels it? ( Luke 22:49-51) a sword by itself is only as strong as the one who picks it up to use it.That is the answer to the riddle. hehe

You are right. Flesh is stronger then an object. But our head. What we think about God's will. You know what I mean? As Christians. What do think God is asking of us now? Or maybe you're thinking Jesus expects nothing at all?....

Proverbs 23:7 1 christian1 Thinking causes one to gain knowledge, and knowledge should become wisdom. And in this we never need a judge. Hence the problem with many, they would judge before they think. Jesus and I know each very well! James 1:22

Jesus told you this?
If so, did He give you the answer to my question?

The answer lies within bro. ( Rom 8:14-15) For we are all parts of the body of Christ, your part may be different from mine, but all parts are working together both for the Lord and each other.( 1 Cor 12:1-7) Please note verse 6. There are varieties of effects!

The effect i have in the Lord can and almost certainly will be different from yours, but we need all working parts to be in order so that we may enjoy the full effect from each brother and sister. I am not sure 1christian where you are looking to lead me in or to,but I can say this about myself. ( 2 Cor 13:5-14) I hope this has helped you in your own walk.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10 :)

This is much the same story for the region of America, the so-called Rust Belt, which I am from. The Riddle of Steel gets more complicated as the West in this new era fades away from steel production and making tangible manufactured goods and the Far East, dominated by China, but also some other oriental powers, rise in production of steel and industrialized goods.

The steel mill re-opened in 2002. Guess who owns the mill. THE F*&%# Russians!!! lol. the reason I read about this is because it was a big deal. They were not eligible for the "stimulus check". or any of the free money that the Senate was throwing to the rich. lol

Russia purchased the mill that I was talking about in 2002...
