And yet while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Remarkable.

But they are considered vessels of wrath.
Yes. But God's wrath should not be understood as something that somehow cancels out His love. God's love is primary, His wrath exists only as a response to sin, it does not have an existence of it's own and is therefore a function of that which is God's essential nature, namely, Love. (1 John 4:8)

Exactly. Now, show me one post where I said He did/does.
It's kind of implied that if you love someone you will not take pleasure in their destruction. So if God does not take pleasure in the destruction of the wicked that would in turn mean that He loves them.

Wrong my friend. There's this thing called justice. It must be satisfied. When a person is found guilty, the judge may not delight in rendering the guilty's just sentence, but if he/she is a just judge, he will give him them their just due and send them to prison for being guilty of the crime they were convicted of.

The same thing applies on the day of judgment. Those who stand before the Christ on the day of judgment will be guilty of being lost. And justice demands they be cast into the lake of fire.

God is love and to deny that is to deny God's very existence. But you can't cancel it out in lieu of His love. Wrath is just as much one of His attributes as love is. And there are vessels of wrath that will be shown His wrath.

Psalm 5:5 says “The arrogant cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all who do wrong.

Then how do you explain the part of the verse that says "You hate all who do wrong"?

I'm willing to be corrected, but I would need more than 'accepted wisdom' or 'common interpretations' to convince me.
When I read provers 6, especially 16-19. I have to agree with you. I’m sure the majority of people on here can identify with at least one of the 6/7 thing that The Lord hates. Also, psalm 119 ‘I hate and abhir lying’ who doesn’t lie? Seriously? Even if it’s just pretence that we’re happy when we’re not. 😔

Does God loves those He will punish in the lake of fire?
Does a parent love a child when they punish them?

God died for them, he offered them a way out, it’s not his fault they chose to reject him.. I think he will be sad on that day

There is a statement by John. Its either true or a lie. 1 John 4:16 begins with “God is love.” It is a declaration of His essence or being, not what He does, but what He is.

If this is true then it follows that we don’t quite understand the depth and scope of what Divine love looks like. WE love those that love us. Gods love is much bigger.

We are commanded to love our enemies. When we can understand that, we can come close to seeing the crux of the matter.

God does love everyone but not the way they all are, the false part is God loves everyone the way they are, big difference
Satan knows it's God's love that's his number one threat. So if he can't put people off it one way he does it another. If making him seem angry and vengeful doesn't work he'll make his love seem so diffuse it's hardly there at all
It can seem like putting emphasis on love pushes up against scripture of wrath just that something bigger going on!

God is Love

His wrath is an attribute of His love

God chooses to love in spite of the many things he hates.
For example when he looked upon me I was a murderer, adulterer, blasphemer, liar, and so on.
Yet the Lord chose to love me, when he was in fact righteous in letting me die in my sins.

The final judgement of man is based on one thing. The rejection of his son Jesus Christ.
We all were born sinners through Adam but the refusal to repent to heed the word of the Lord leaves God no choice.
The rejection of Christ is the blasphemy that cannot be forgiven.

There were 3 words that saved Adam that day in the garden..."here I am" as the Lord called Adam so he calls on all of man kind.
Jesus points to the days of Noah as a example of the people who were left behind and perished in the flood.
As Noah preached for 120 yrs with his hands busy building what God had tasked him to do teaching his sons and daughter in law to do the same. Yet the rejection of the remaining populist grew into continuous evil. Rejecting what was plain in there sight. Plain in there hearing.
The flood waters came, the cries of the people, men women and children could be heard for miles, all wanting now to enter in but too late. The door was shut.
Do you really think God had pleasure in that???
As Jesus said it shall be the same in the last days. A sudden destruction, devastation like no other, fire instead of water.

Fact 1 Romans 3:23 King James Version (KJV) -Mankind is a sinner
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Fact 2 1 Timothy 1:15 King James Version (KJV)- Christ came to save sinners
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Fact 3 Romans 5:8 King James Version (KJV)- Christ died for the sinners
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Fact 4 Romans 3:26 King James Version (KJV)- The declaration of righteousness which believes in Jesus
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
