I designed this Psalm 103:19-22 panel January 22, 2020

I went with a feather theme, given all the feathers in these flapper head-dresses and corsages
It brought to mind a saying by Hildegard von Bingen, about being a feather on the breath of God.

I so love scriptural truth portrayed in art form! I go to a textile group (when we meet - at present it is online). I see ideas that come to me often in picture form or how I might sew it. Art can touch the heart in ways that words may not. I have a dear friend, a christian lady, who is very sad and going through a divorce right now - she is also a gifted artist and has a similar style to yours - I am sure she would love it. Maybe I can invite her to join up! Happy designing! x

Me too, I used to put text on photos I took on an old laptop with different software. Maybe there are some tutorials on youtube? You seem to have a desire to be creative ... I'm sure it would be very healing and helpful during this time of pandemic and lockdown ... perhaps there are some free courses out there online. I do regular art for sure - I only have a chrome book and doing anything creative on it has proven a real pain...
But recently I have been truly inspired in some ways Making cards and little things to pass the time - but I am also getting stir crazy sitting at home for two months now...

Today I have watched netflix and played a coloring game on my phone all day x.x

Yeah, I guess most of us have those days when you just have to stop and do whatever it takes to get through the day or do nothing; sometimes all I felt like doing was to get up, feed myself and sit with the Lord; I felt too restless to do anything really constructive or productive. Some days I would just go out for a walk just to the end of the road to get some air, light or to stretch my legs and alleviate my feelings. Someone gave me a bag of knitting wool right before the lockdown here in mid-March. Now I have not knitted anything for years and years but I found a very easy basic pattern in a book I had for a jumper and it has been quite a good activity to have at this time: just to sit on my balcony or at the door, enjoy the sun and just knit and maybe chat to the Lord at the same time or pray for someone and a goal to achieve, to look forward to when "all this is over", hopefully in a few months' time. I began to feel "stir-crazy" weekend before last, like I was starting to "lose it" emotionally and felt tearful all the time, but since then God has done something amazing which I will try and post in the Testimony thread soon. When it all got too much, the Lord stepped in..... I'll pray for you today. Are you living on your own like me? And can you get outdoors if it's only just for a short walk down the end of the street? Vitamin D is good when you are at home much of the time and not getting much sun. I've also got some card-making stuff ready for when I have time or feel like it. X

I discovered after making that panel that having moving elements can be very distracting and therefore not as conducive to carrying the Scripture message the panel is intended to convey. For that reason I have not posted any others that I animated (there were a few).
