It does not matter how much science or history one knows. The Bible stands alone as the word of truth. If the science or history doesn't match the Bible, then that science or history is false.
There is true science and there is a true understanding of the Bible. There is a Scientific method and there is evidence that comes from God that we can examine and study. For example there are 7,641 islands in the Philippines.
"The Philippines is one of the 17 mega biodiverse countries, containing two-thirds of the Earth’s biodiversity and 70 percent of world’s plants and animal species due to its geographical isolation, diverse habitats and high rates of endemism. The Philippines’ biodiversity provides several ecosystem services. It provides food, water, energy sources, pharmaceuticals, biomass fuels, carbon sequestration and climate regulation, crop pollination, cultural and spiritual inspiration and ecotourism value".

This statement all by itself falsifies his claim for a worldwide flood. In fact I do not care how many PhD's they have in Theology. They do not qualify for a high school diploma because they did not read their high school biology book. I took Biology 52 years ago in 1968. They did not know nearly as much then as we know today. So I have had to read, study and learn on my own using old Bio books that I get on Amazon sometimes for as cheap as $5. So I have no sympathy for people who want to make claims without doing their homework. For me they are without excuse and they have lost all credibility.
I also took an Ancient History class in 1968. Nothing has changed all that much in that regard. We do not know that much more about Ancient Mesopotamia today compared to what we knew 50 years ago. Still history helps us to verify what we learn in Biology.
I will offer a second evidence even though they have failed to refute my first evidence of biodiverse ecosystem. I can name this in three word: "Out Of Africa". I do not mean the movie, I mean the "hypothesis that all modern humans stem from a single group of Homo sapiens who emigrated from
Africa 2,000 generations ago and spread throughout Eurasia over thousands of years.
I still support Creationism. OEC - YEC - GAP & dispensationalism. I can present a valid argument for all of them. I still support Bishop Ushers book. I have a copy of his book here and it is valid as far as I am concerned.
“
We must be on our guard against giving interpretations which are hazardous or opposed to
science, and so exposing the word of God to the ridicule of unbelievers.” (Augustine)
