I agree with you all but there are some positive aspects to Valentine's Day. Sometimes people get so busy dancing their dance, and racing from one emergency to another that they don't make time for what is important. We should make it a priority to express our hearts for those around us. Some people assume that others know their heart and see words as unimportant. One of my great joys is making sure my son hears "I love you" every day. Every day is the right time to express appreciation, encourage and let our loved ones see their worth through our eyes. Unfortunately sometimes people forget that it isn't a luxury, but that it is essential, so I would say that any day that reminds us that we need to make sure our loved ones hear it again, is a good thing. Hugs to you all. You are appreciated and thank you for the joy you bring to my life.
We are saying the same thing , I do believe, just differently and with different words. So amen to that and , truly, thank you for ALL that we are Blessed by God to hear through the wisdom and fun he shares with us all through you and your kindness...

A guy at w*rk was bugging me about I need to find a girl. He started casting aspersions on my ability to find one, claiming I had no game.

I replied, "Look, I'm a single guy, fairly good sense of humor, no massive debt (no debt at all, actually,) no major red flags about me, and I'm still single. You think that's by ACCIDENT? This is intentional!"

He didn't have anything to say about that so he stopped talking. Finally!
I will have a conversation with my wife about this situation. Her daughter Melisa participates in Singles Awareness Day too.

Every saint should have a day.
waiting for saint Lanolins day.

You dont need to buy a card for that one, I will make it so the prescribed gift is a warm blanket or socks. My suggestion is if you already have too many socks, to make a sock monkey to give to your loved one(s)
