Why?

How did it come about?

When did the time period begin?

What time period was it restored to?

Did it replace the first tabernacle which was used for the forty years or was the second an abomination of desolation ?

The Holy Ghost this signifying, (not the actual the unseen place of the glory of God) that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure (parable) for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation Hebrews 9:8-10

When was the way into the holiest of all made manifest.? Was it when the veil was rent signaled by what Christ said; "it was finished" and the graves were opened?

A 'yes' answer to this also answers the rest....

Ephesians 2:18 KJVS
[18] For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Ephesians 3:12 KJVS
[12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Romans 8:3 KJVS
[3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Hebrews 10:20 KJVS
[20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "THE REFORMATION"* AND "THE TIME OF REFORMATION" AS STATED IN THE BIBLE
Why? BECAUSE THE OLD COVENANT WAS TEMPORARY

How did it come about? WHEN CHRIST SHED HIS BLOOD ON THE CROSS

When did the time period begin? THE DAY CHRIST SAID "IT IS FINISHED"

What time period was it restored to? NOT APPLICABLE

Did it replace the first tabernacle... ? AND THE TEMPLE. THE TRUE TEMPLE IS IN HEAVEN
* The Reformation pertain to the Protestant Reformation. The time of reformation pertains to the New Covenant period.

On a side note there were always Christian churches that didn't need to reform.. around before Catholicism and kept a biblical faith all thru.

Course I'm speaking of the protestant reformation

History has records of these Christian churches .. mostly calling them heretics because the history is mostly written by the persecutors

The time of reformation is anytime the Spirit of reformation (all things written in the law and the prophets (sola scriptura) does it work of restoring truth .

When two or three gather together under the authority all things written in the law and the prophets (sola scriptura) He is there working in us restoring His truth

It reformed the pagan government in the first century as it did in the 15 th. . . . a Carbon copy .

Just different names for the father as a law of men. It is the power by which we can believe God and not men.

It is daily applied as we do seek a daily bread.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Study to show oneself approved of God.

You are simply making up your own meaning. Context is critical, and what you have said is NOT was is stated in that passage.

Hi thanks for the reply.

I would ask . Then what is the reforming authority in any generation.?It must be constantly reforming restoring the power of the gospel to the proper form of God's government. . When two or three gatherer together under that authority he is there. He alone causes the reforming growth if any.

What is it you think I stated?

According to John's revelation "no one was able to enter" until the seven plagues were fulfilled with the 1st century destruction of Jerusalem and the temple:

(Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.)

Of course "no one" did not include Christ who entered in with his own blood.

You do realize that the true church that Jesus set up never became a part of the Roman Catholic church and therefore did not come out of the reformation, don't you?

Yes they remain in need of reformation. Just as the unbelieving Jew.

Everyone has a story or private interpretation of what they think the scriptures God's interpretation revelation is informing us. .

What would Mr. Gonzalez private interpretation have to do with the time first century reformation.?

Sounds more like he has a Catholic story .

Abel was the first recorded member of the church, the bride of Christ His blood cries out to this day as the first martyr.. The church did not begin in Acts it was reformed and restored to a period of time when there were no kings in Israel... called Judges .

The walls of the pagan temple came tumbling down .Head for the hills .

They’re history books, Einstein. History. No opinions, just history. Forget I offered the advice and wallow in your illiteracy regarding the Reformation.

Jesus never said I BUILT my Church but I WILL BUILD my Church.
Apparently the gates of hell prevailed over the so called 'OT Church'...

Matthew 16:18 KJVS
[18] And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I see that a little differently.

More of how he will builds it using the gospel not when. The gospel, God revealing his thoughts to us as he did with Peter. Moses Abraham, Abel etc.

I WILL BUILD my Church as a continuation. (1st Abel) Many lively stones make up the spiritual of house of God the church . Not just old testament saints but new as well

1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Matthew 3:8-10 King James Version (KJV) And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

What makes you think it has only to do with new testament saints .Two brides? Two gospels?

I disagree, the true church does not need to be reformed.
Which denomination?

He needs to continual reform her by the washing and renewing of His Spirit . I would call it "Reforming Theology" always working to protect the integrity of all things written in the law and the prophets .The reforming authority in any generation or situation when thing go to the right or left.

Because of passages like these...

(Eph 3:2) If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
(Eph 3:3) How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
(Eph 3:4) Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
(Eph 3:5) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
(Eph 3:6) That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
(Eph 3:7) Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
(Eph 3:8) Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
(Eph 3:9) And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
(Eph 3:10) To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
(Eph 3:11) According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
(Eph 3:12) In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
(Eph 3:13) Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

(Eph 2:11) Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
(Eph 2:12) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
(Eph 2:13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
(Eph 2:14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
(Eph 2:15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
(Eph 2:16) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

(Col 1:18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

(Act 20:28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

There seems to be a big difference between the Commonwealth of Israel and the Church. Both in future plans and past differences.

I think using the fact that we sometimes need to be revived would be a better term to use instead of "reformed". We need to be refreshed, or reminded of the truths of the scriptures. Reformed, to me, denotes "to change our thinking".
