Never been a coffee fan to the point of having to have it every day. Once in a while I'll induldge in something if I SERIOUSLY need a morning boost. My hubby wanted a NINJA coffee bar ( fancy coffee maker) which now makes a lovely addition to counter clutter. When we first got it, he was making me all sorts of lovely specialized drinks..... I had SO MUCH ENERGY (even though I was still so exhausted, some night I just couldn't sleep b/c I had way to much during the day) So I try to avoid it as much as possible now. Also while exploring options for my daughters medical issues (border line ADD/ADHD so may have it, or may just still be growing DIFFERENTLY from other children (i.e the way God made her) ...… either way we're not medicating her for it...…. and that's a whole other thread....... but the specialist first words "try this new drug medication" I talked it over with our pediatrician who also agreed in this case it's not a best option...…..)
Anyway getting back onto the coffee topic:
The pediatrician told me that she has older patients (teens ) who don't want to take the ADD/ADHD meds either.... BUT a cup or 2 of good old Joe does the trick for them! (As though they took the meds) but if they don't have their coffee fix...… well same ol dproblems occur
Kinda makes one wonder...….
