if I was working hard on being dishonest, I would have just deleted my post but I found some humor (silly me) in responding without realizing I was wrong. always trying to get things right but no one is perfect

Another indication of the 1st century audience relevance of the parables to the Jews/Israel:

(Luke 13:22-25 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them “strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able when once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ )

(Luke 13:26 “then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ )

(Luke 13:27-28 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity. “There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.)

Comparing the above with what Jesus said about the "sons of the kingdom" in Matthew it's clear that the "tares" are of the then present kingdom of Israel who rejected Him.

(Mat 8:11 “And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. )

(Mat 8:12 “But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” )

One reason for the differences is that not all here have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Some do not believe that way, and some who think they do really do not. Some believe that simply being water baptized fills them with His indwelling presence, and that is their error.

Scripture is clear (as Paul taught) on how a believer receives the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Some do not even believe in Spiritual Gifts........

Many reasons for differences of opinion of Scripture, but, I know for sure that the blame lies with us and not the Holy Spirit, nor His counseling.

Would I be correct when I paraphrase your post to say that you were In church pretending to be saved then you really did get saved and now Instead of a tare you are a wheat?
