Why play word games?

If your father told you not to play with fire or you will burn, then you start a fire in the home, when he gets burned running in to save you.... it does not mean he is ok with you starting that fire.

Where did God change His mind?

When He forgave?

No....

Sin = death

He took the death for His children...

By grace through faith.....

You, like everyone deserves His justice...

A righteous punishment for the horrible wicked thoughts and deeds we have done since before we can remember....

He will take that punishment for you, and also change your desires so that you can help others see His mercy and love...

I love you sis but...

1 Peter 3:15
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear

This blind individual came here with questions.

If our sister magenta felt moved to answer, you have no need to reprove her.

Also... if you feel convicted to walk away that is good for you to do....

If you feel the need to talk to your sister you should do it in a way that doesn't encourage this lost ones behavior...
If you did convince me, wouldn't that mean I just decided based on what you said?
I was agreeing with this part of his response, which could be true and not a bad thing.

Jesus was foretold from the very early chapters of Genesis :)

His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection fulfilled hundreds of prophecies :)

Fulfilling only eight of them would have beaten astronomical odds.

Why don't you just answer the question instead of running off at the mouth?
I just answered the question.

I can't categorised what I know about the maker of this universe, because I just don't know enough to define it as a whole concept. However, if I started making assumptions and created my own belief bubble, then I might accidentally trigger off another faith wave in the future.

That would be bad.

In other words, you know nothing. You have already made assumptions and created your own beliefs.

I deleted that post and sent it in pm... I don't mean to try and sound preachy.. I respect you.... sorry if I am out of line with my words
No problemo.......I was only responding a certain portion of Rivens response, I typically cut and paste the portion but I was thinking it was self evident..... LOL

Really? Let's see you do it, since you claim it is super easy. Were you born of a virgin?
Is this the Messiah test?

Born of a virgin? Which god man in history doesn't fit that bill.

But go on.

Ok, Talk to us after you've been beaten with a cat of ninetails, crucifed, had a spear shove through your side TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE DEAD. Sealed in a tomb with 2 armed guards standing watch and came out alive 3 days later dude!

I'm sure many of us have this kind of fantasy sometimes

the nonbeliever: Hi evangelist, thanks for telling me about the bible, but I don’t believe …
God: Hello, I'm convicting you of your sin right now, listen to your heart
the nonbeliever: I have to be honest about this, I do admit feeling conviction of some kind
God: you don't want to reject the gospel, please take the gospel seriously, consider the possibility of how serious this is
the nonbeliever: evangelist, you asked if I want to accept the gospel, yes, let's pray the prayer of salvation

^but too bad this is not reality, or at least it only happen in rare cases

There's no outside information from historians of that time that all those events took place, and no outside information from any other source either that those events took place.

And I mean the specifics of those events.

A quick side question.

How many angel's were present at the tomb of Jesus when his followers arrived?

One, Two, or None?

Go do your own research...figure it out and put it to rest....obviously you have not reached that point yet, otherwise you would not be here arguing.

@PennEd

Do you know what I sometimes wish would happen, if non-believers are asked if they believe that the Bible is true, God will give them a shock vision of standing on a Bible hovering over the lake of fire

The hovering Bible is the only protection

And that should convict them: the Bible has to be true
