The great thing about revelation, to one it is the Holy Spirit speaking, to another it
is something not important, just superficial ideas.

I was sharing with a brother a few days ago, and it came to me, hearts of stone turned
into hearts of flesh. Soft hearts are willing to learn and change, these are the hearts
of Gods people, while those who stay held and unchanging are lost in the hurt and pain
of their past and dare not change because their hearts will fall apart and cause too much
chaos in their lives.

It is why so much one shares in the Lord will bounce off the hard hearted because nothing
echoes in them, which is the main way we as humans empathise and make bonds.

So my friend as nothing I shared seems to connect, I do not expect this to either, but for
some these are the words of life, Jesus at work within us, Thank you Jesus, Amen
1 Corinthians 2:11 - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You are right, it takes such a massive discernment to see you are preaching
stay in your sin as one sin condemns you to hell so stop walking in righteousness.

If one believes you are static as Dan and God cannot fundamentally change you, it is
true you are doomed to stay in the prison of your life.

To me you are just preaching accept what is, and submit to this reality all else is fantasy
as gb9 declared a few days ago.

But I see testimonies and know my own, God changes everything, and brings His Spirit
and new life, dead bones brought to life. In change and in Christ nothing is impossible.

And as Paul declares this is foolishness to the imprisoned, the natural man, for they are held fast and
cannot move, but in Christ all things are possible, Amen.

And to know who is who, are you not declaring you are a slave to sin and submitted like every
other natural man?

I connect with Jesus within us (and also with my brothers and sisters in Christ) and Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)

Then my friend why do the words I share seem so hard for you to accept?
They are nothing more than the words of God worked out.

You seem to have a wall you have constructed that you do not want to bridge.
What amazes me is when I meet brothers and sisters in Christ who just sing to
our King, from an open cleansed heart. It is such a joy and pleasure to meet
such as these. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

you mean like a wall that flat denies the meanings and definitions of words to prop up a false belief system that tells you " one day, you will cease all sin " , and " I can one day constantly keep all of the standards in the Sermon on the Mount". ( we will , but not while in the sinful flesh).

yep, some have walls . not dan though.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

so, now we are off grains and back to fruit.

o.k., if you plant grape seeds now, today, you will not have grapes this year, maybe next year, depending on the weather.

if you plant a young vine, you might have grapes this fall.

either way, if you plant today, you will harvest nothing tomorrow...
...DO NOT BE DECEIVED: GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:7-10

..."I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but YOU ARE DEAD. WAKE UP! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I HAVE NOT FOUND YOUR DEEDS COMPLETE IN THE SIGHT OF MY GOD. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; OBEY IT, AND REPENT. But IF YOU DO NOT WAKE UP, I will come like a thief, and YOU WILL NOT KNOW AT WHAT TIME I WILL COME TO YOU..." Revelation 3:1-3 To the Church in Sardis

...And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ “But God said to him, ‘YOU FOOL! THIS VERY NIGHT YOUR LIFE WILL BE DEMANDED FROM YOU. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is NOT RICH TOWARD GOD.”
Luke 12:16-21

...NOW LISTEN, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW. What is your life? YOU ARE A MIST THAT APPEARS FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND THEN VANISHES. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins. James 4:13-17

...When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.” Ezekiel 3:18-21

...See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? Hebrews 12:25

just throwing up out of context verses does not really mean anything.

there are over 33,000 verses in the Bible, you can just string some together and make it say whatever you want.

if course, if you cared about honesty, you would use context...

peter, there is one way into Heaven- faith and trust in Jesus alone. you either accept His sacrifice and righteousness , or you stand own your own merit. that's it. no third option. the third option is man-made religion , made by folks like you and your bogus church . the statement of faith is man-made opinion, just with some Scripture thrown in..

God does not accept anything with a blemish, and you can NOT ever be unblemished . that is why one MUST trust Christ alone..

Jesus is the guardian of our souls...He is not a farmhand that runs when the wolves in sheeps clothing come , He is our protector from the start to finish of our faith , unless you believe in your own works added , because our Jesus of the bible is God Almighty , who keeps us and protects us , He is all powerful and nothing can separate us from Him , for His Spirit tells our spirit that we our His children...xox...

You miss my point. Our failure is the sin within our hearts.
Unless we are washed and cleaned it is all pointless.

You call this works, I call it Christ born into my heart.
And as often is the case we both believe in Christ and His forgiveness through the cross.
I believe it actually works, you do not.

I mentioned the church of the Nazarene because it has worked out the theology and the
foundations of this position, so you realise it is not just one person sharing this position.

And saying this is man made is just grabbing at excuses. Sin cannot dwell with a believer.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what
is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
3 John 1:11

If your heart beat with righteousness and love you would understand this sentiment.

It is quite simple. After we come to faith in Christ, it is the Holy Spirit working within
us that brings us to the ways of life, because the foundation and cleansing has happened
in our hearts.

Unfortunately for some this has never taken place and they find defeat trying to apply
Christs words and heart to something that is in rebellion.

You cannot fake such things, which is why some respond very differently to the same
words given by Jesus. Almost without exception all those who have come from very
difficult situations, of great hardship and trauma and know Christs healing and restoration,
know what I am speaking about.

The most vocal here are life long churched people who have had some trauma with their
view of faith, and changed it, often looking back at their old form of belief with anger
and resentment. It is why when I simply talk of love in Christ, they do not know what I
am saying, but I believe you do. God bless you.

thanks peter, this is easy-

your first paragraph here is basically the statement of your silly church.

so, by this logic, one BEGANS a journey to salvation, that you will obtain when you are properly cleansed of sin.

this could not be more of a lie.

salvation is RECIEVED , not " arrived at".

not of yourself, a gift of God.

stop believing this anti- Scripture , man -made garbage.

Here is your problem. We are called to follow. We have a transformed heart, born into the Kingdom
of Heaven, to walk in His ways, to learn and grow from being a child into a fully perfected man or woman
of God.

Paul puts it simply in our walk

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Gal 6:7-9

We start our walk with Jesus knowing we are sinners, forgiven with a commitment to walk
to the end God intends. Our proof is we complete the walk He has given us.
If we fail to walk His walk then probably we never truly knew Him or one point was finally too
much. This is a walk of life, eternity, not just pretend or fake reality.

If you need God and the world, then the end will come, because the Kingdom is not part of
this world or His ways the same as this world.

A typical worldly conflict is falling in love with two people. One must be disappointed.
But the ways of God rise above such things into eternal real relationships.
If you think His people abide with the world, then this is not the Kingdom.

So many do not understand bible sanctification. Sanctification comes with conversion, 100% part and parcel of conversion. Obviously when we speak of it, it may seem like something of its own but there is no such thing as conversion without sanctification. So what is this part of conversion referred to as sanctification. Start with what it is NOT. Sanctification is not a forever process of sinning and confessing and in 10 years after conversion you may be sinning say 10% or 20% less than before conversion. That type of idea is not sanctification, has nothing to do with sanctification or conversion. So what is sanctification? Lets think of that corn plant Jesus spoke of...corn planted (perfect seed)...blade comes up (perfect tiny plant)….developing ear (perfect at this stage too)..then full corn in the ear (perfectly mature). Sanctification starts with conversion and is a process of 100% YES lord. It is never a process of yes and no lord with a little less no as we go. Our Savior is a now savior and as we all know Christ saves from the curse of the law and from the curse of breaking the law...its called conversion, transformation, new man, new creature, all things new.

I have a problem in your approach. You want to isolate steps or aspects of our transformation and Gods
work as if this can be isolated, when in eternity it is where we get to that matters.

My concern is creating a false expectation in people who do not know the nature of our walk is always
pushing forward, always growing and changing, always seeing Gods work in new and dynamic ways.

So we come to faith as a gift of God, a supernatural encounter, where we pass from death to life.
The trigger is Gods word and the Holy Spirit. The faith is a loyalty to Christ, an open heart desiring
change and a life of love and righteousness that is like lightening. Repentance, the putting aside
the things of this world for the things of the Spirit, using confession and Gods word and leading
in the Spirit to guide us through along with fellowship with other believers.

Key to this change is an open heart, willing to be cleansed and purified within.
And this is part of our walk, but the start is when we repent, we ask Him to come and meet with
us. This is the point of the beginning, salvation, when our trust goes from being defended to
trusting Him and His work.

Our cleansing happens as part of Christs work within us, and only starts when we have faith
in Him.

My concern with using words like saved, is it creates the impression our cleansing is a benefit
of knowing Christ rather than part of our salvation itself. Without cleansing there is no salvation,
no resolution and arriving at being like Jesus.

Jesus called this process like building something or going to war. It takes time, planning, dedication
and consistency.

I have a problem with your teachings. Salvation is a gift and not by works. Jesus Christ is that gift. Cleansing, saving, sealing are all from God Almighty through His Son, Jesus Christ the Lamb of God and Savior of the world. Amen
