Does entering into Jesus' rest mean we're to give up the Sabbath day? Is the 4th commandment part of the moral law of God?

a big dig and then a simpering...."God bless you"? Just how superior do you think you are?
I don't need your guidance and I certainly do not need you to attempt to be my own personal Jiminy Cricket.
Read this well. If you come on the forum with your stance, be ready when you engage another for their response, and accept it whether you agree with it or nto.

So far I have not appraised your character as you hav ewith me and probbly many others since it came so easy for you with me.

I do not care if you are 100 or 4 years old, yu have no reason nor rhyme to talk to me in such a manner. Now I pray god blesses you with the humility to hear others and understand when they are sharing God's wonder in their lives........this is edification and agift within the Body members of Jesus Christ, Yeshua.

Pleae feel free to continue, but do it in the love of Jesus I pray.

ley's try this- Jesus was fully God and fully man, lived a perfect sinless life, and we are to believe in Him , and accept His righteousness , and that is what saved us.

that is the basic Christian belief system.

do you agree with this?
You are sounding as if you are a Christian with Christian beliefs. I am used to you telling how God's law is dead and we shouldn't believe in it, now you turn completely around and speak of believing in the Lord and His salvation. I have complete faith in all of God including both God's grace and God's law. Do you?

is always at work 24/7...
obey God or Man.
If you love God or man more will determine the answer.
How about God through man?

I think keeping the Sabbath is important. The Sabbath is made for man and not the other way around. Its not about salvation through it but giving yur body rest. Jesus kept the sabbath. He only spoke against the manmade laws (which are rediciolous)

It is about obedience.
Your Choice...
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
Indeed, Passover is approaching I want to hear you have purchased a lamb and slaughter the lamb in your backyard, Jesus honored the Passover with a scarfice as you will as well or else.

it’s your choice. though if you choose to slaughter a lamb in your backyard make sure no one sees you, you may get arrested for animal cruelty, just saying...

The disciples prepared the meal the same way,

Mark 14:12
On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was being sacrificed, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?"

Exodus 12:5
'Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

Exodus 12:11
'Now you shall eat it in this manner: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste--it is the LORD'S Passover.

Exodus 12:46
"It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring forth any of the flesh outside of the house, nor are you to break any bone of it.

I think you might as well not read scripture, it seems to go right over your head.

Four men were once told to bow down to a golden image or be thrown into a fire...….. was it wrong to bow down to the golden image? If they did they were giving glory to a man and not God. They chose not to bow down to the image and obey God who had said thou shalt not bow down to any graven image. Hum... seems to me that was a commandment also. However it was made into a law and a real test of faith for those four Hebrews obey a man made law or die.

They told the king who gave them a second chance to bow down that no matter what - as in their God was able to save them but if He did not save them they would still not bow down to the golden idol and obey the mandated law and yes, they were willing to give up their life to obey God rather than man.

Right now Sabbath keeping is not being put to the test in a life and death matter but should a time ever come that it is tested as a life and death matter well...…... it is one of the original 10 commandments written with God's own finger who started it with the word Remember. I know what I would have to do.

And PS: I was told that once by a boss and I told them I still would not be able to work from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday... I was willing to loose my job, and guess what? God honored my faith and I was not fired and did not have to work on Sabbath as it was a test from that company on my faith and no I did not threaten them with legal means I was willing to loose that job I was trusting in God and knew either way it would work out....and it did. That's real faith when it is ultimately tested.
And you as well, sharpen your knife, you have a scarfice to preform soon.

By blotting out the law, everyone from that point would not be guilty, and not need Christs blood to save them.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Rom_3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

All have sinned for sin is the transgression of the law and by the law is the knowledge of sin. The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin, yet we establish the law.
so, do you keep the Law of Moses?

I think maybe you misunderstood what I was saying.

I said that " Jesus was fully God and fully man, and we are to believe in and trust in Him for salvation."

so, do you agree with this , or not??

But God is not a man as us, never was, he remains supernatual without beginning or end of Spirit life. In that way we trust the things not seen

How would that support the weekly sabbath as a fast using Mana as the food ?

Of coarse they don’t, they preach about honoring the sabbath but don’t give two cent about the rest. surely none of them will sacrifice a lamb this coming Passover Jesus did it and that is what they preach Jesus honored the sabbath and so shall we as well, but not the bloody stuff that doesn’t count anymore to them. IMO if someone is going to preach about keeping commandments then they should preach them all.
