Listening and Doing

Two Kinds of Wisdom
... Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:13-18

all of us - here in the USA at least - have freedom of speech.
however is there anything you would never say?
maybe you would never say some particular thing to some person or group of people you feel strongly about, or some things you wouldn't utter at all, no matter to whom, or even if you were by yourself and no other man or woman was listening?
that is in part what it is like to be a servant or righteousness though you are not under law; to do good even without fear & threat of punishment.
however is there anything you would never say?

Amen! Romans 4:2 - For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? We were JUSTIFIED thru FAITH in Christ. By His sacrifice on the cross, His HOLY blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins, we were made righteous. A righteousness thru FAITH.
Imputed righteousness is simply “Christ in us”
...To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
...It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS, holiness and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30
No one can be considered righteous without Christ in Him and he in Christ.
For Christ to be in us, we must believe and accept what we have heard (Romans 10:8-17), the WORD planted in us, which can SAVE us, (James 1:21, john 1:1-14,Matthew 13:18-23) then we will receive the promised Holy Spirit. (Galatians 3:14) The Holy Spirit will lead us unto all truth and He will be our Counselor (john 14:26) enabling us to obey His commandments which leads to RIGHTEOUSNESS leading to holiness and the result is eternal life. (Romans 6:16-22)
...Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? Romans 6:16
...“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. 1 Corinthians 2:6-14 (NIV)
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If you have Never been Born Again,
that Verse 14, would explain why you do not understand the Verses in the same way as most of us that are Born Again. Yes there are TWO TYPES OF WISDOM, - Of the World and the Wisdom only the Holy Spirit can reveal to us.

Again, you cannot see what the breadth of scripture says. Has NOTHING to do with washing myself. it is following the Spirit. It is you that oppose that because you tie following where the Holy Spirit leads with works done in the flesh. They are not the same. It is why we are told specifically "If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him. " and "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. " You are quoting man made interpretations of scripture instead of scripture itself. Dude, it is you who need to study for you are justifying evil. Again i will simply quote Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". You have made the critical error in believing a person can consistently refuse to follow where the Holy Spirit leads (which includes following the commandments) and yet still believe. Good luck.....

@Argueless you’ve been giving the word of God, purely the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, now some HAVE CHOSEN TO DENY IT not only that, now they accuse falsely, and say their minds(which is falsehood), thinking evil, they have become Vain in their Imaginations..

It has been said already that salvation cannot be earned by WORKS, therefore No one can be saved by works and that when One is saved, God’s work is wrought mightily in such one, thereby such one do the mind of God, the will of God, to the glory of God. In Such one, grace reigns through RIGHTEOUSNESS unto eternal life by Jesus Christ.
All these have been spoken and cried out!!, yet they deny it, and Accuse falsely, just because that is what the evil one is known to do. He accuses Falsely.
They intend to bring up arguments with the word of God, even when the truth is seen. Because the Truth is Light. But one may choose to accept or reject it.
Therefore it has been said, it has been spoken, and it is manisfested, that the word of God stands, and it is sure and True.
Therefore I pray God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.🙏🏿

Ok, here is the facts.
1. I am not justifying evil. I am holding onto the grace that has and continues to save me (something I am not sure you understand)
2. You say you do not wash yourself. Yet you say it is YOUR WALK IN THE SPIRIT that saves you, news flash. By defenition that is you washing yourself. (It is your power of walking that saves you)
3. I agree. He who is born of him does learn to walk like him and they aught to lve as he lived. But even paul acknowledged this is a learning process. A baby can not act like an adult (he can not drive, hold a job, Follow a map to get someplace or many other “adult” things, He can not even do things a child can do. Let alone what a teenager can do. ) So saying a baby Christan can act like an child, a teen, or even an adult is not understanding what a true babe is (its why they need fed milk, they can not grasp the cpncept of mature things) and they will not even have the capacity to live like Christ did at that time, because they have to LEARN (A process called sanctification) which evidently you do not understand either!
