Not necessarily. Most of the naysayers fall into the following categories:

1. Poorly taught about the meaning of God's salvation.

2. Deceived by the doctrines of men.

3. Unable to comprehend the grace of God and the finished work of Christ.

4. Plain ignorant.
Gee. Thanks for the compliments!
I wonder which one I am??

Jude 1:

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
What does falling mean?

You should never get use to ignorantly offensive people in this world. Fruits. Remember the discernment concerning fruits. Mathew 7.
Welcome to the forum. There's an ignore function available. If you find someone to be too dark to entertain even in a scroll by horrible insults, mouse under that name and a block will drop down. "IGNORE" button is there. Or you can copy a name and go to your profile and find the ignore option on the right side column and then paste that name. Save, and you'll not see them anymore. Not even in quoted remarks to them by others.

Again, welcome.

Hi Lillywolf
Thanks for the advice. What bothers me is the non-christian attitude. I think we could discuss with each other in a nice way. You're nice,,,so you made up for someone else's shortcoming,,,God works in mysterious ways!
Nice to be here.

PS. Your signature line is Kool!

Thank you all around. I love the siggy picture. I didn't realize it dropped off my signature because I had opted to not see signatures in posts. The image is a sculpture of Christ wrapped in a shroud on a park bench. The import of how the world treats homeless embodied.
Like the passage says, we could always be entertaining angels unaware. So we should be kind to strangers.
Of course the enemy has his angel followers too. Discernment as one who is in Christ is vital to survive life in this world.

God Bless You.

I'm new here and this is the first reply I read. Actually, I think it's funny. But I'll get more serious as time goes by.
Welcome to the BDF forum. A forum where sometimes, bushels that hide candles, are "cracked", when steel sharpens steel. Where players, at times, become discerned from "laborers." In a venue where, in this guys opinion, is one of the "better" places on the internet for sharing, discussing, teaching, and learning, from many a variety of "perspectives."

This is good to hear.
I THINK.
What is a player and what is a laborer?

Oh. And why are those nuns, who I believe are in a choir, carrying rifles?

I really think in some cases it truly is baby Christians, like I was, that haven't been given revelation to exactly who they are now. And so thought that their sin and wandering away, could separate themselves from God after believing in Jesus.

"Lord I believe! Help my unbelief!" On the surface, this seems to be an oxymoronic type statement. This man believed, but still had doubts. Was Jesus' response " Well then I can't help you!"

No. He healed this man's son, and I bet after that revelation THE MAN FULLY BELIEVED!

Yet I think this vastly differs from the one who does not believe in eternal security, but has no fear of losing it because they actually count on THEIR following, and obedience to save them.

This question may boil down to these 2 type groups that disbelieve in eternal security.
little late too the party on this but actually I think its what James puts as Double Mindedness and that statement "Lord I believe! Help my unbelief sounds like something I say when Im in a bind. I can relate because the Double Mindedness is in me and this Im....almost certain of >.> sigh yeah it truly effects your whole life when you have it not just spiritual.....

That you don't know the answer to the question shows ignorance of what Scripture says about salvation:

Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ (believing in His death/blood and in His resurrection).

Salvation is not by believing in OSAS or by not believing in OSAS.

Are there people who claim Christianity and say they do not believe in OSAS who are going to hell? Of course

But the reason they are going to hell is not because of belief in a doctrine but because of not believing in Jesus Christ.
With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, can I borrow the ENORMOUS strawman you erected here Chester?

? ? ? ?

Here is what I wrote about salvation:

Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ (believing in His death/blood and in His resurrection).

Salvation is not by believing in OSAS or by not believing in OSAS.

Are there people who claim Christianity and say they do not believe in OSAS who are going to hell? Of course

Where is the strawman? (You really have me befuddled on this one, my dear friend!) ???
