how do I help the unbelievers who are suffering... They don't know that God is real and... I wanna show them that he is... But how? How do I become an instrument of God and help the unbelievers? Letting them know that God is there to solve their problems

Do not ask for a book of instructions because you already have it, but my immediate thought is that we are to win them with love., especially in demonstrating by our lives our love fo one another...God bless you, j

Couldn't agree more with my brother here. God does the adding. God does the healing. All we are are the instruments that he wants to use to share the blessings 😃😃

You love them as God has loved you.

You listen to their troubles and don't try to fix their problems but just be present and pray that God shows them the answers.

In this way their thanks will be to God and His aid and not you and your help.

You help them know God is real not by what you do but how you trust Him for answers.

Before doing, pray and ask God if your words or actions will actually help or hurt? Too many people act and speak without ever praying and asking God if it's what He wants.

You help unbelievers know God by showing them your relationship with our Heavenly Father is not fake or based upon what you have been told of God. This can be done by showing your intimate knowledge of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, honest prayer and agape love.

The best way to help an unbeliever is to allow the power of God to be displayed in how you live your life, how you treat people, what's important to you and your hopes and dreams. The best way to help an unbeliever is to set a spiritual example for others to consider and emulate.

It's been said that we are the only Bible that most men will ever read . . . our lives. Live it, day in and day out. Keep yourself unspotted from the world. Know that if you do something questionable in your friends presence (it might not be wrong but if it gives a bad impressing of Christianity, or reflects poorly on the Saviour) don't do it. If you find yourself in a situation where you are 'suffering' or are not at ease--certainly don't murmur about it but keep a cheerful disposition giving glory the God through it all.

He'll get thirsty because of your salt, and he'll be attracted to the light because of that which you allow to shine - and eventually your testimony may drive him to find the Cross. And in the areas where he can not see your testimony -- you can still pray for him.

This where the Christian's rubber hits the road. We should be aware that everywhere we go, every moment of the day lost people are watching us. When we consider an individual friend as in the OP is gives us a purpose to live right. Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God so it rather behooves us to live the part. This is a great argument not to drink alcohol because a king or a priest (preacher) could be called upon at any moment of the day--and we want our heads to be clear to make the proper decisions.

A person that knows you is likely watching you. He has a friend that is witnessing to him about Jesus, but he is watching all Christians and he happens to know that you profess Christ. Live right for him too!

It is reported that Mahatma Gandhi was once asked about becoming a Christian. He said, "I would have become a Christian, if it were not for other Christians."

True statement, or merely a lost man's excuse to avoid the Cross, we won't know until we reach eternity. But we will see all the opportunities that we had to be what Jesus wanted us to be, and weren't and another was effected because of it.

Same for me. In my mind christianity = catholicism or ultra-charismatic prosperity gospel

Those were the only two "forms" of christianity that i saw around me. Catholicism I always connected the dots that OK these guys hate jews, im out.
Ultra-charismatics were just TOO WEIRD for me, and im a weird guy hey., but even I got my limits. I could see the charlatan fake money grabbing by a mile, dont know how people are deceived into something like that, but I guess the saying is true "a sucker is born every minute"

If there were more regular christians showing the way, much more people would get saved NO DOUBT.

Every time they complain about things in life, you can answer with I suffered that myself but thanks to God He helped me through it. Typically, that opens the door about who this God is and so forth.

But be careful here at this point. Just say what God has done for you. And use that by your proof he exists.
EXAMPLE: I used to suffer from fear...but during a period of my life, I chose to accept God and believe in Him. Eventually, I asked God to help me get past this fear. Now today, I don't even think about it because I never fear. And I know I could have never made myself feel that way. I know it had to be God, because everything/everyone else failed and nothing helped until I gave it to God...

It's your sincere testimony that opens their emotions. And the Holy Spirit will be there to make your sincere testimony be alive, as the H.S works on them.

What God needs you to do is be that person that you are looking for. Others are looking for him also. One plus God will always be a majority--no matter what the rest of the crowd is doing, you walk with God.

Read you Bible and make sure that you are saved . . . and be the Christian that God wants you to be.

I never thought I would know how to comfort widowers, until I became one . . .

God has allowed that to be a foot hold to open doors. Your testimony has so much value. And with the Holy Spirit guiding you and planting your words into broken hearts, the possibilities are endless to how many lives you can touch!!

I gave an example of fear:

My real victory was rebellion!!
I have been fortunate to understand things rather quickly. It has opened many doors for jobs, to know people, to get favors, etc... And the older I got, I felt the smarter I was. I had an answer for everything (still do/it's a habit I am trying to work on)...but I could see both sides of any argument or law. And then I would choose to play in the middle. But eventually I got mine. It really was like a left jab from nowhere, and as I was picking myself up off the ground (in emotional terms), I realized my knowledge was a danger unless it was used properly. I lost a marriage and time. It took me almost 5 years to get out of that funk. But, it was when I lost my Dad a couple years ago, I really truthfully and honestly understood, I did not know crap!!

Yes, I give definitive answers. But, I am also looking to learn, now (haha). Every response I get from a differing point of view, is either a chance to learn or a chance to broaden my understanding. But rebellion is a tough mindset to kick. I struggle daily with it. It definitely is my thorn!!

Help like a believer, rather they be a believer or unbeliever.

...I was a widower too. It was a lonely and isolated part of my life.
We sorrow not as others which have no hope. The great solace is in knowing that they are not dead, just living in a new address and more alive now than they have ever been! And knowing that she is still praying for me is a great balm in midst of the loneliness. Heaven in now certainly sweeter and it means more to me now than it did when she was with me.
