In the Psalms, which chapter speaks about delighting in the Word of God? (Hint: It's the longest psalm.)

I do not agree with your first paragraph. When God established the Sabbath and sanctified it, was at creation. I believe the Sabbath was established and ordered with Adam even though scripture does not say it. Why would there not be verbal instructions to pass on? Many other things were established way before the law and written history.

Your second paragraph about the proper way to observe Shabbat: you could write a whole book about that. Basically keeping the Sabbath is to not seek your own pleasure, but to love God and others as yourself and take time to show it.
See I thought about that a ton. Just like one should not murder, the covenant with Noach was advanced and “built upon” by the Torah so now there are many more laws but those were obligated to Jews as recognized by your second paragraph.

But if you mean that Christians should get off the Sunday church days and back to Saturdays, sure but still they are not obligated but that doesn’t mean it is not profitable! Like Paul says, if you are WEAK in faith, forget about the days and festivals.... focus on what you struggle with (i.e. maybe a drug addiction, maybe just trying to go a day without hating people etc). BUT for Christians who want truth and a greater connection to H-Shem.... welllll come here and I’ll show you Shabbat!!!!

I LOVE SHABBAT!!!!!!!!! It’s not only a “Holy-Day” every week BUT WOW.... POWERFUL!!! Singing psalms all day, using all 6 days to prepare a feast for G-d’s Holy day.... the people.... ahhhhhh!!! Lol! I want to share it with everyone....but not everyone is ready to see its beauty.

Almost.....sort of right, but not exactly ...........
Psa. 91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Psa. 17:8 "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,"
Psa. 36:7
"How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings."
Psa. 57:1 "To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast."
Psa. 63:7 "Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice."

This is an understandable mistake though. You made me look it up. hahaha... giggle.gif

Lol! It's fun when I actually getcha on a question......hehehehehheee:giggle::giggle:

I've been thinking about the difference between "shadow of the Almighty" and "shadow of thy wings." It seems with one I am under the Almighty and the other, I am under His wings.

Under the Almighty, to me is a place where I am completely submitted and surrendered to God. I have given everything to Him - holding NOTHING back. Whereas, under His wings, to me is a place of healing and comfort - not totally submitted, but I am crying out for God's mercy and He is answering my cry.

What do you think is the difference?

You have a point there. The verse that says shadow of the Almighty tells us we dwell and abide there. In other we live as a reflection of God totally surrendered to His will. The shadow of His wings is a reference to being under His care and protection. It shows us rushing to get under them (especially 17:8;57:1).

No, scores here: God is keeping track.

Question: When Elisha prayed that the LORD open the eyes of the young man so he could see the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire (angels), where was he?:D:love:;)

I really could be wrong because I have not looked it up, but I want to see if I remember.... She had the son that died; Elisha laid on and prayed over and brought back to life.?.
